Home Away From Home

York lodge is a beautiful gem clean, beautiful with serene gardens. Even on a business trip they will make you feel comfortable and at home. The staff are very professional and they greet you with a smile all the time.

York Lodge - First Class Hospitality!

York Lodge is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed: the walled garden, friendly staff and meals were first rate on every level. It is a sanctuary of peace for busy travelers. This is the only place we stay when in Harare.

York Lodge - large groups stay

York Lodge provides a great space for large groups, with lots of gathering places as well as individual retreats. The food and service are top notch.

Lost Luggage

We didn't spend much time at York Lodge, as it was an overnight stay between arriving in Zimbabwe and heading off on a rapid trip around the country, so we didn't really get much of a taste of what they can offer. We arrived, having lost a suitcase on the trip from Jo'burg to Harare and the office team at York Lodge, immediately jumped in and did what they could, phoning round etc. to see if they could track the suitcase down. In the event, it was found, that evening and, I believe, it was the efforts of the office team, together with Shumba Shuttle, which meant that we were able to collect the suitcase, en route to our next destination.
