I had an amazing stay. Host was very welcoming and prepared tasty and healthy breakfast for our family. View was stunning.

I loved this place! Amazing views, great hosts - super friendly and knowledgeable. We met most of the other families staying there too at breakfast which was a very social affair. I can’t recommend this enough, all types of accommodation from hobbit house to raised stilted duplex (this is where we were).
We were greeted with a drink also offered some homemade wine too, it was lovely- and sat with the host for an hour or so, planned our following day based off his recommendations (which were faultless), then we spent the night in our chalet. Breakfast was help yourself home prepared traditional breakfast with locally sourced and made produce with all the other guests.
We also met UK Oliver and his Portuguese girlfriend who were travel working around Turkey, they were here for two weeks. I wish them the best in their onward travels

Heredot's House is a truly special lodging.
Heredot's House is what specialty lodging is all about. It fits in no one category but should top any such category. Separate accommodation buildings sit in a garden on a steep hillside and each building has individual character. Hobbit takes inspiration from the film version of Tolkien’s Hobbit. Some are detached rooms and some semi-detached. All are ensuite and have air conditioning. Any idea of sleeping in a hut is gone as soon as one enters these comfortable rooms.
There is a spring fed plunge pool which shares the distant views of mountains and sea with the rest of the site. Meals are taken on a hillside terrace with these same views. Dinner and breakfast were delicious with plenty of food.
The hosts are so friendly and helpful.
Heredot's House is found off the road towards Yeşilyurt, a short drive from the main coast road (D400) and the centre of Finike. There are signs at the turning off the road up the steep hill to the property. The drive is hard surfaced. There is adequate parking. It is a short drive to the beach, to Lymira ancient city and to central Finike with its shops park and marina. Drive towards Yeşilyurt and you are well on your way to Arykanda and then onwards to Elmalı.
Good value for an excellent special experience.

A wonderful stay
We stayed at this place during our round trip in turkey and it's wonderful! The people are so lovely, the food so delicious and you have your own cozy cottage. A phenomenal view. You can explore the old ruins or enjoy the day on the beach. Feels like a hidden Paradise. Totally recommend!

Feel like home
When we decide to book to stay at Heredot's House in Finike We had no idea what we feel like. But when we stayed there, we felt like staying at home. The House was very clean and We think they deserved what We paid for. The structure of building was amazing and they had different houses we prefer Orange house .When we asked them how could you think to build that structure.They answered that one of us teaches physics on of us teaches history we combined them .That was great idea
The room size was quiet comfortable. The location is so close to the city center and it is also good access to go to the beaches. The breakfast is served in buffet and quiet variable and tasteful. . We only stayed there for 1 day but wish to come back again at our next visit, we will recommend Heredots house to everybody Thank you for your hospitality and making our stay enjoyable.
