A peaceful refuge on Koh Phangan
A peaceful refuge on Koh Phangan, the location is perfect, not too far away from downtown and attractions, same time quiet for relaxation when needed; we have enjoyed our stay and will be back soon. Highly recommended.

The beach front vila is terrible
The vila was terrible!! not whorth it !! no pool only small and full of bugs " hot tub" , no hot water , when we tried to cancel the reservation we were ready to pay the 1 night cancle fee , the front desk said no need and send us to are way , we end up with the TOTAL bill for 5 nights when we didnt stay there for 1hour. Its a scam!!

Paradise lost!
We really looked forward spending five days at Sunshine Residence, but left after only three! The bungalow is nicely decorated and is superbly placed, directly on the beach. However, the lack of maintenance was a big problem; without going into details, four complaints in three days isn't good enough. The staff was helpfull, but the problems was only partly fixed (if fixed at all). Main problem was the beach - when you only have a jacuzzi to your disposal, it's nice to take a swim, but not when the beach looks like a "junkyard" - non of us (including two kids aged 12 and 14) was near the ocean the three days we spent in the bungalow, before packing our bags and finding a new place to stay. Sorry to say - the potential is great, but in my opinion broken by bad management!

HEAVEN!!!
i staied at the beach villa and i found it like the perfect solution for my needs. after the check in at the milky bay (very friendly and helpful staff) i got taken by a taxi to the resort which is absolutely stunning.....the villa is beautiful and with all the comfort you need and more. location is spot on too.....i enjoyed watching everyday the sunset from the jacuzi and chilling in the tropical garden. what else??? i highly recommend this place if you are looking for something MORE!!!! thanks again to Eddy and all the staff for making my stay there TOP CLASS!!

astonishing place!!! TOP CLASS!!!!
me and my girlfriend we staied in the beach villa for a week in march.......amazing location, top class decoration inside the villa. tropical garden to die for, a jacuzi viewing the sea its definitely an extra bonus and very friendly staff. all this and much more made our stay there fabulous. we will definitely go back there. MUCH RECOMMENDED!!!!
