Love Koh Tao
Big plus for the restaurant: very good dishes and big portion! I even recommend going to the bar with the pool table and chilling on the terrace.

BED BUGS INFEST!
We were actually very happy with the room and also the good location of the hostel, except for a bed bug running around on our bedsheet. Since we had examined the entire mattress for bed bugs right at the beginning, we were naturally surprised. So we searched again and found a whole nest in the pillowcases, which obviously were not changed and washed, otherwise they would have been discovered. AN ABSOLUTE NO GO!
Of course reported directly to the reception, which was also very helpful at the beginning and directly changed the mattress and the bedding and we could therefore still spend an emergency night there. (Therefore and due to the good location one more star.)
We asked to wash our clothes and backpacks hot, or to clean them with hot steam and to dry them just as hot, so that we wouldn't drag uninvited guests along. They also showed cooperation (we thought) and did everything within a day.
The next day we immediately asked for a refund of the last two days and the night of discovery, as we did not want to spend another night there. We were told that this was actually not possible, but they would be kind enough to meet us. So we were refunded three nights however with the temerity to CHARGE 25% DEDUCTION DUE TO THE ROOM AND LINEN CLEANING!!
Conclusion: despite the initially nice impression, there is this justifiably bad review due to the bed bug infestation and the cheek to calculate something for it.
Definitely not recommended!!
