Everything was good, the staff is friendly, delicious food, fire show was amazing. I enjoyed my vacation)

It was alright. The beach was not exactly pristine, which was a let down. The rooms lacked sound proofing. You can definitely hear the neighbours. We had like a Russian family next door and they talked so very loud.
There was a 2 hours blackout on our last night during dinner and we still had to pay full price for dinner. A service recovery would have been that they gave a discount or at least given us drinks while we dined in almost absolute darkness not knowing what we are eating

Newly renovated rooms; comfortable & cleaned. Beautiful private peaceful beach. All the hotel staff that we had contacted did excellent jobs. Enjoyed live music & a fire show in the evening. We gave 200 THB to the fire show men. Frankly speaking, their fire show skills are much better than Hawaii. (Except, no hip dance) It would be nice if the other hotel guests would have given them some tips, too. Everything was good, except the music at the restaurant by the beach was a bit too loud. I will return to stay at this hotel again if I go to Samed next time.

Overall of the services are not bad. Only the disappointing part is the toilet. The cleanliness of toilet is killing me. And the water drainage stuck and flooding in toilet.

Overall, a disappointing stay at a highly overrated and poorly staffed hotel. Th following honest review will likely result in me be sued but here we are...
Pros
Breakfast is better than average
Cash deposit returned without attitude
Nice and affordable Thai restaurant a few minutes walk down the beach
Cons
Grossly understaffed
Food orders take upwards of an hour to be served
Beach is too small to accommodate number of guests
No staff tending to guests on the beach and keeping things tidy falls onto the guests
Lower class clientele, spitting on the beach was frequently seen as well as using beach as ashtray
Rooms are very small and paper thin walls mean you hear everything everyone is doing, including throwing up after drinking too much and shouting at your partner because they are throwing up from drinking too much
Pillows are paper thin, request for an extra pillow met with very sour and sassy attitude from reception
Live music is too loud and run through a sound system of very poor quality, to the point that some notes are painful
Awkward live saxophone performance including wandering around the breakfast buffet while playing too loud -- seriously what are you thinking?!?!
Trans 'cabaret' in evening during dinnerthat reeked of explotation, quite shameful actually
