Camping life

Nice place good sites close to the center nature close, clean and tidy on the toilet nice in kitchen area freshly paved inside the area book into the campsite

Close to the center

Expensive camping and the camping card to get in and be able to shower costs 100 sek EXTRA. You can shower for 2 MINUTES! 10 crowns drawn when you shower. Get toilets and showers. Very far for some to latrine and water, laundry, etc. Washing machine must be booked and paid at reception, 40 SEK.

When a quick shower requires a bank loan and a miracle

​We had been swimming and just wanted to do the obvious: rinse ourselves off. We were totally on board that a shower can cost a penny. But when the reception demanded a deposit of 500 SEK per card – a total of one salmon to get under some running water – one began to wonder if the taps were made of pure gold. Well, you get your money back within a week, so we swiped the card, swallowed our pride and walked towards the service building with our 2,5 year old (who by now was anything but interested in the project).
This is where the adventure begins.
We're gonna blip our way in. Does it work? Of course not. There will be a panicked card exchange outside the door. Blip! It's working! Relief spreads in the body. I get naked, stand there naked and ready for that thousand crown shower, raise my hand to blip the water... and nothing happens. The damn shower won't.
Meanwhile, the two-year-old gets that total, monumental break that only a tired parent of young children can understand. So instead of a relaxing shower, it’s time to panic-dress all the half-wet clothes on a screaming kid, march back to the reception and get in line. Again.
We returned the cards, claimed back our fortune and checked out for good. Thanks for the experience, but next time we would rather wash in an adjacent ditch!

Not again...

Wonderful campsite BUT EXTREMELY LOUD MUSIC and ROARING MOTORS from the adjacent grounds in the evening and at night. According to the campground employee, the campground has a long-standing feud with the local youth, which the police are unable to turn off. Our honest opinion: Better to take another campsite and not be blinded by the good reviews.
