A hidden gem in Sri Lanka: jungle, ocean views and food you won’t forget

I’ve never stayed anywhere quite like this.
The villa is only 3-4 years old, but somehow feels like it’s always been here. It blends into the jungle so naturally, with a warmth and character that reminds you of old colonial architecture , which is quite a feat for a modern build.
The breakfasts, lunches and dinners are delicious! The menu was created by a talented Ukrainian chef. Every single dish was incredible! Thanks to Sri Lanka’s beaches and activities nearby, you’ll be glad to have ways to work it all off. Because every dish is prepared with such love and care… you taste it in every bite!
The pool is surrounded by green gardens, cosy gazebos and soft sun loungers — the kind of place where you just relax and forget about time.
The yoga studio is wonderful, with truly skilled and attentive instructors.
And the terrace is large, beautiful, filled with comfortable armchairs - looks straight out over the ocean. It’s the kind of view you just sit with in silence.
You can come here to be completely alone with a good book, or bring a group and celebrate something special. I joined a retreat and it was perfectly organised and genuinely wonderful.
Villa Space, I’m coming back next year!

The best villa ever

That is the best place we ever EVER stayed. When you see the view -you forget about everything. Very close to the beach. The place is unique! Luxury rooms with antique furniture. Very clean! The atmosphere is amazing! Highly recommended!

Incredible Villa looking out over the Indian Ocean. The open air living spaces was amazing. Easy walk down to some cool restaurants and beautiful beach or just hang at the pool. Breakfast was top notch. We were really happy to discover this place.

Amazing

Staying at Villa Space felt like finding a hidden paradise. The team is amazing—they’re always there when you need them but never intrusive. The breakfasts were fantastic, with the perfect mix of local and European flavors. The yoga space was such a peaceful spot to unwind, and surfing was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The team made it super easy by arranging lessons with the best instructors. The Villa itself is beautiful, with a pool and rooms that offer stunning views of the ocean. Highly recommended!
