Perfect place to relax

We spent a wonderful couple of days at this gorgeous guest house. It was our first stop in Sri Lanka and the perfect place to unwind. Its setting on the lagoon is stunning and we watched the most beautiful sunset from a swing seat on the pontoon on our first night. Dinesh was always on hand for anything we needed, and the rest of the staff team were also really helpful. The swimming pool was great, and they have bikes, kayaks and paddleboards available for free. My husband and son went for a kayak on the lagoon which they really enjoyed. Food was plentiful with a range of cuisines on offer, although the speciality is undoubtedly Sri Lankan meals which were really excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and included, to eat it in such a beautiful setting was pure joy. We loved our little cabana with its outdoor bathroom. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Anawasal is quite remote, but tuk tuks are easily arranged, it's a 5-10 minute journey into town or 15-20 minutes to the beach where there are other dining options. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Relax

Looking for a relaxing time. Great you will fond it here. Looking for some sports movement or dolphins watching. Great you will find it here. Super friendly staff, with local good at your service. Room comes with a view and happy with it. Swimming pool nice and everything well maintained. It is a bit at a outer corner of the island bit worth going for a few days. They take Care of you.

Come here to relax and enjoy nature.

We had a great stay at Anawasal Resort! Nicely secluded and relaxing place. The owner is so kind and made sure we had the best stay as possible. Massages and yoga classes on the jetty and arranging a dolphin trip. I have to eat strictly glutenfree because of celiac disease and the owner understood it well. I could eat waffles, pancakes, wraps and fried pakora's. And it was delicious!

Exceptional- Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at Anawasal Resort. From the moment we arrived, it felt like visiting family. Shibi and Dinesh, the hosts, were incredibly welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. They took care of us in the most remarkable way. The food at the resort was absolutely delicious, with a variety of mouthwatering dishes to indulge in. I must mention that the yoga sessions led by Shibi were exceptional. Shibi's passion for yoga shone through, creating a harmonious and transformative practice. We left feeling refreshed, balanced, and grateful for the opportunity to practice yoga under her guidance. The experience at Anawasal Resort was so incredible that we couldn't resist returning for a few more days at the end of our holiday. Moreover, for those who enjoy kitesurfing, the duotone kitesurfing spot is conveniently located just on the other side of the gate. We highly recommend Anawasal Resort for a truly memorable and rejuvenating stay.
