Exciting experience!
Goddess Kandy is a very beautiful and peaceful place! Not far from the noise of the city, Goddess allowed us to chill and rest very comfortably in a big House with a pool, garden and shared living places with board games and books!
The interior design is also wonderful and add a touch of tranquility!
The staff was very welcoming and disponible at any time with very smart advice. There is also a dog which is very kind as weel
The breakfast was very good and portions were very generous (it was difficult for us to finish).

An oasis in the hustle and bustle
If you want to relax, this is the place for you. Goddess is just outside Kandy - about 30-40 minutes by tuk tuk (depending on where you want to go).
The room was very nicely decorated and cozy. Also great are the many lounges within the hotel, as well as the pool table.
The whole staff was very nice and helpful.
However, those who travel on a budget might find it too expensive.

Blissfully relaxing stay in Kandy
Had a very special time staying in ‘The Goddess’. Was perfect to stay with our family whilst still being peaceful. Food was superb and the team made us so welcome.
Rooms beautiful and the design throughout gave a feeling of being outside but inside.

Not like photos and expensive extra services!
We stayed three nights at Goddess Kandy. Aout 2025.
The garden and lobby are very nicely decorated indeed the furniture is very well chosen and this allows to create a pleasant and natural Mood far from the tumult and pollution of Kandy.
Unfortunately, this truth does not apply to the Queen size room which was much smaller than the photos, without window so moisture and mold stains - see photo. The owner of the house acknowledged that the room was different from those communicated on booking. The owner moved us to another larger room for one night. However, she did not propose any commercial gestures for the other two nights while again acknowledging the discrepancy between the booking photos and reality.
After this important inconvenience, it should be noted that Gaya the owner makes you feel like a wallet on legs, just arrived, she offers us tickets for the parade of Kandy at 22000 LKR per person, ticket we had at 8000LKR. The same applies when she offers to help you book a tuk tuk for the 2000LKR center twice the classic price via the PickMe app (local Uber).
Traditional massage to avoid - already refuse the evening slot offered by Gaya, because otherwise you will have the chance to be massaged while some guests dine 5 meters from you. The quality of the massage considering the price is very average,
Finally, if you are asked about your breakfast drink and you want a cappuccino it will be charged $4.5 because only coffee or tea are in the formula and obviously this is never specified, only on the final bill.
However, we must thank the staff who are listening and we take this opportunity to highlight the professionalism of the provider @skyFeather - who accompanied us on a hike away from the beaten track of Kandy. Donald has a real knowledge of plants and the history / culture of Sri Lanka - very good English.
