Beautiful hotel and room very nicely appointed. Rooftop pool was fabulous. Great outlook and easily enjoyed cocktails from that viewpoint! Very friendly staff. Great location above the lake and looks across to Temple of the relic of the tooth. Easy walk down town.

We drove past The Trees on our first trip to Kandy and were particularly impressed by the beautiful architecture and the walls covered with solid wood panels. We haven't been disappointed by the room, the nice view from the balcony, nor the à la carte options during our short stay. We didn't get to enjoy the stunning rooftop pool overlooking the lake on that rainy day unfortunately but look forward to another stay to do so.

Central hotel but far from the chaos of Kandy
Modern hotel overlooking Kandy Lake.
Large and comfortable rooms and excellent breakfast (even if a bit expensive) in a well-kept environment.
Efficient staff even if I did not find the warmth that I usually find in establishments of this level

The trees rating
Staff were friendly, welcome with beautiful flowers and tea.
Room very nice, cozy with lots of wood. Spacious and clean.
Restaurant we found a bit less. A squirrel walked in and we also saw a rat sneak in. Food was good.
Pool fresh, but a very nice view.

Great hotel
Amazing rooms, we had lake view and the location was stunning. Also good breakfast/ lunch/dinner options. Very modern building and close to city centre
