Excellent and Cozy

This place is really comfy. It is located at the amazing hilltop overlooking knuckles hills. The staff is amazing and cheerful.
I was given all necessary information I needed to enjoy my stay in Kandy and Sri Lanka. Their rooms are clean and well furnished. Cold and warm water is available 24/7. They have great internet connectivity as well.
There are 3 food courts within 100m radius from Hiranya.
Excellent stay for all!

Perfect stay

Very nice and helpful host. Extremely clean place - probably the cleanest place I stayed in at Sri Lanka. I was very tired of my hike up the Adams peak in Ella and felt really comfy and relaxing here. Amazing sleep, awesome view over the mountains and restaurants and groceries close by. You can chill perfectly on the Terrasse (Lion Beer 250Rupees). Fernando supplies all the information you need in and around Kandy. The local restaurant was just amazing. There is even a very competent tour operator around (Luxman Tours) if you need one. Thanks a lot for a perfect stay.

A restful stay

Very clean, spacious and loads of plants which makes it a relaxing base from which to explore Kandy. The local restaurants downstairs is also an option to cooking yourself.
Fernando is an friendly and easy-going hostelowner.

Amazing Stay

I couldn’t recommend this hostel enough.
Fernando is the most friendly host, catering to all needs and providing endless tea and coffee.
The rooms were comfortable and clean with good air con.
Fernando didn’t miss any detail, being off a noisy road he provided ear plugs to all guests along with fresh towels and slippers for the shower.
The hostel had the most amazing view and tasty cheap restaurants down stairs. I also met a number of lovely guests.
One of (if not the best) hostel I’ve stayed in during my time in Sri Lanka.

AWESOMEE HOSTEL!

This is such a niceee hostel!! The owner is super friendly, hostel is super clean, bathroom is clean, beds have lockers and provides lock. I love their balcony, it has such a beautiful view and its so peaceful with the gentle breeze aswell in the warm weather of kandy its a great place! The hostel is like a getaway from the busy city life of kandy, i ended up spending wayy longer time here than i planned and literally chilled out in the balcony enjoying the view.
Reallyy recommend this place, although a bit far from town to walk, tuktuk from pick me wil cost around 150rupees so its okay.
