Greenland B&B was a comfortable place to stay with friendly staff and a wonderful prroidge for breakfast. Not the most comfortable bed of our holiday in the highlands but still good.

Exceptional property exquisitely decorated end maintained: we felt like we were staying in a grand country house. We were made to felt very welcome and we felt very comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat and the cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious.

A wonderful, peaceful stay along the NC500

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely and tidy B&B. It is situated in a wonderfully quiet location, making it the perfect stop along the North Coast 500 route.The hostess was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We also highly appreciated their clear focus on sustainability throughout the property. Our room was both beautiful and spacious, equipped with reliable Wi-Fi. The en-suite bathroom was spotless and included a shower, sink, and toilet.While there is no lift on-site, the charm of the property more than makes up for it. There is no dinner restaurant, but they offer a great alternative: you can bring your own takeaway food and eat it in the comfortable common room. Another big plus was the private, free parking space right on the property.In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with both continental options and an à la carte menu to choose from. Highly recommended for anyone touring the NC500!

very conveniently located for the ferry

We made a stopover there because it is very conveniently located for the ferry to the Orkneys. The B&B only offers breakfast starting at 7 a.m., but we had to be at the ferry by 7 a.m., so the landlady made us breakfast at 6:30 a.m. as an exception, great service. The rooms were very nice, the service as mentioned top-notch, and the breakfast very good.

Comfortable stay in lovely surroundings

We stayed here for 2 nights. We chose it for the location as we were going to Castle of Mey and John O’Groats. It was ideal for this. We ate out both nights, once in Thurso and once in Scrabster, both were an easy, short drive away
On arrival, we were given a warm welcome. We were on the first floor and there’s quite a lot of stairs to get up there but the hallway looks very grand. There is a lovely breakfast room and lounge downstairs.
Our room was very big with lots of storage space. The decor was lovely and it was all themed to Scottish clans. There were coffee facilities but no decaf coffee in the room. There were two chairs in the room and it was all very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a reasonable size and it had a very effective and hot shower. There were some toiletries provided.
Our host was very welcoming and informative. Breakfast included lots of choice for Continental and also hot food on request which you fill in a form the night before. All very efficient. There’s a small car park outside but adequate number of spaces for the number of guests.
I would definitely recommend this B&B.
