FANTASTIC

We had a really lovely stay. The food was amazing, and Jan and the team were so welcoming and accommodating, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The beer garden was a great place to relax, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would happily return. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mixed experience

Let's start with the positives. It's a lovely place,the staff were pleasant and helpful ,we booked a meal for 630 on a Saturday evening. My Beef strips in peppercorn sauce with onions and mushrooms was delicious. And a very good sized portion Down side our meal took 40 minutes to arrive and My husbands morroccan lamb was inedible and charred black,perhaps if they had brought it sooner it wouldn't have been black.,He complained and they offered to knock the drinks off the bill. I went for ice cream for pudding ,you can't do much to that and it was nice . Husband ordered the crumble,it definitely wasn't his night as this was awful and had huge rock hard lumps of crumble mix that you couldn't get through with a spoon ,he complained again and they said they would adjust the bill .When he went to pay all they had knocked off was one pint of John Smiths ! We are not in the habit of complaining as you will see if you follow my reviews. This was such a shame as it was to be our treat at the end of a lovely holiday. REGRETFULLY, we won't be returning .

Testing Stay

Comfortable stay at this small 18 bedroom hotel in Leeming. Handy for some aircraft spotting at the RAF base. Saw a rare Hawker Hunter (post war jet) doing a lovely air display.
Food and staff were exceptional in the face of a local non resident whose language was to say the least was' industrial'. Shame as it seemed to make several diners in the restaurant very uncomfortable, one cutting short their meal as a result. Staff did their best to curtail the situation but the demon alcohol did not allow the gentleman to respect other diners
Rooms were very comfortable with a really good shower.

Excellent Sunday lunch

Stopped here whilst visiting family. Delicious Sunday roast and excellent value. Portion sizes are large. Staff very welcoming.

Fantastic in every way.

The whole place was excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to preorder breakfast so we could leave a bit earlier for our day laning.
The food was incredible. Portions were generous, the steak was expertly cooked, the chips were perfection and my chicken parmo was not only big, but delicious, and with plenty of cheese.
We stayed over and the room was lovely, really clean, en-suite was immaculate, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
I cannot recommend this place enough. The 10 of us had no complaints at all, and were all really happy with our stay.
