The old coach house eyemouth

Would recomend this accomodation. It was very clean and tidy. The location is beutifull and the staff working in the contented soul are brilliant (karen) was very helpful and made our visit all that little better with her friendly welcoming and very helpful.

Zero standards

Don't book there unless your standards are very low. Very basic, dated, poorly equipped. Toiletseat loose, carpet frayed. Kitchen cupboard inside stained, walls stained, sofas worn and stained. Not one complimentary item anywhere. General a no care attitude. No Wi-Fi. Useless electric tricky shower. Dark and dingy rooms, have to walk sideways in what they call kitchen ( it's not a functioning kitchen).
Another wise word, avoid the pub opposite, the contended sole (you have to go in to get the keys) if you are not prepared to be around by wild running dogs. Four dogs, one an xl bully without muzzle or lead run towards us, another one sniffed in our grocery bag before we could act.

horrific

This place is disgusting - dirty, cold, damp, with insects in the beds. We left after 10 minutes to be accosted by a drunk man with no teeth from flat below and a drug addict whilst reloading the car, we were staying there as we were displaced by a car colliding with our home. I paid for four nights and was told they 'couldn't' refund we should go to Bookings.com - here we are five days later still waiting for the refund which Bookings tell me the Old coach house should do. Don't use this place it is horrific and we are thinking about a legal route to get a refund.

Comfortable accommodation

We had a 2 bedroomed property up some narrow stairs with the laundry room on the other side.
The accommodation is fairly basic but bedrooms are comfortable, kitchen reasonably well equipped although no dishwasher, and it’s nice to be able to bring the dog for a £10 per night fee.
There is no wifi, but certainly for us the 4G was fine.
Unfortunately the double bedroom was right beside the roosting point of a number of pigeons and seagulls and between that and the very thin curtains, I didn’t get much sleep. Usually bring ear plugs and eye mask so partly my own fault.
The pub staff are very friendly and sure they would help with any issues.
Wasn’t sure about the parking- we parked on the pier as the pay machine wasn’t working, but not sure if that’s a normal arrangement.

Comfortable stay

Stayed in apartment three. Plenty big enough for two people
Bedroom comfortable and warm
Kitchen space a bit crammed and interesting access to fridge but perfectly adequate
There was an issue with hot water supply. Electric shower was ok but taps were very cool. Had to boil water in kettle to do washing up
