Central location
A good hotel with basic facilities centrally located in the park of the spa town of Podēbrady. Also very convenient for the railway station. Staff very obliging. No wi-fi but many interesting spa treatments available including the ear wax candle treatment!

Need some treatment?
I stayed here for a week on business - on a dark and wet week in November.
It's plain, it's simple it's low on facilities. But reasonably clean and right at the side of the park. Free internet, which is always good to have.
There are lots of people wandering about the corridors in bath robes and many of the rooms have been converted for "treatments". Most of the clientele are staying on recuperation / post op breaks. Which is probably why it's so quiet.
The breakfast is fine (bread, cheese a couple of hot dishes) but nothing special. In the evening it was dead; but there is an excellent bar / restaurant (the square) a few doors down and a couple of other good placed to eat in walking distance (though for most of them you have to read Czech or guess wildly at what to order - probably it will be a pork knuckle!).
The Spa Hotel Felicitas looks posher - will try that one next time I'm in town.

Great wellness , vast choice of therapies
This family-run hotel is quite plain, breakfasts are not too exciting and I doubt that dinners there are much better, so nothing special in this respect. However, the therapies on offer are extremely professional and good. The choice is vast from pleasant wellness massages such as hot stones, honey or chocolate massage, various mud wraps and exfoliations and baths, including a beer bath, to those more exotic listed under “AYURVEDIC” section in the list of some 50 therapies in total. I have visited the hotel several times in the past 4 years for the therapies, staying usually 2 nights and pilling in about 8 therapies. They do special "packages" but you can make your own selections.The best time to stay is mid-week when the hotel is not so busy. The hotel is in a pleasant part of this small spa town, rooms overlook the park, it is some 50 km east of Prague, 5 min walk from the train station from which trains run to central Prague every hour.

Hotel Park je umísten na krásném místě u centrálního parku, ale neodpovídá čtyřem hvězdám.
Je to víceméně ubytovna se snídaní.
Je tam velká restaurace s barem, používaná jenom na snídaně, jinak vám tam neprodají ani kávu ani skleničku vína. Jste odkázáni na okolní restaurace a kavárny.
Právě proto je to asi jediný hotel, který bere státní příspěvkové poukazy, protože nikdo
jiný by tam nejezdil!
Jezdíme do lázní na týdenní pobyty několikrát do roka, ale toto bylo zatím nejhorší a nejdražší!!!
Bez slevových čtyřtisícových poukazů by nás
šestidenní pobyt jen se snídaní a pěti procedůrami / z nichž masáže od indů nestály za nic/ stál 18 tisíc. To dáte v jiných hotelích za pobyt s polopenzí.
Opustili jsme hotel o den dříve/právě se vracíme/ protože si neumíme představit další večer a ještě k tomu sobotní, na pokoji.

Nikdy více
Jedná se spíše o rodinný penzion, alespoň dle mého názoru. Zaměstnanci hotelu jsou zároveň jeho majiteli, navíc tam mají na výpomoc jednoho Inda jako maséra a pár děvčat na úklid pokojů. V hotelu označeném 4* není ani bazén, ani společná místnost, ani fitness. Hotelová restaurace funguje pouze jako výdej nudných, stále stejných snídaní s otřesnou kávou. Ubrus u stolu, který jsme si vybrali, byl zašpiněný, na okně skapané mouchy. Výměna byla provedena teprve 3 den našeho pobytu. Večeře se nepodávají, prý je nemocná kuchařka. Restaurace je tudíž celý den mimo výdej snídaně (do 9 hod) zavřená, slouží ke stolování rodině majitele. Dezinfekční gel před recepcí na stolku byl celý týden prázdný, přestože jsme na to poukazovali hned první den. V restauraci pak nebyl žádný.
Během vanových procedur čistí a šmejdí paní v místnosti tak, že si člověk ani proceduru neužije. Světlo na pokoji velmi špatné, pokoj však byl relativně čistý.
Pobyt v tomto hotelu nedoporučuji, pokud nejste extrémně tolerantní.
