Very clean and cheerful a converted house within walking distance of the beach (two blocks) and the town (maybe 5 blocks). Breakfast is brought to your room as there is no dining room or restaurant, it’s a large picnic basket that had everything that we could have wanted (breads, warm egg, warm pancakes, Jams , Orange juice, bananas).

That borders on fraud!

This time it was supposed to be a different hotel in Domburg. We had booked the so-called family room with a big dog for a week. This is a detached house. Accordingly, there is no reception. When we arrived, no one was on site. On the phone we were then told the room was open and the key was inside. Had we not felt so badly in need of rest, we certainly would not have moved in in the first place. To call this accommodation a hotel is completely absurd! You have a ceiling height of 2.10 m on the ground floor. The staircase up to the bedrooms, which is described as very steep, is difficult to climb, absolutely dangerous for children and dogs. Upstairs you can hardly stand upright. The safe is located upstairs in a storage room on the floor next to the hot water reservoir. The condition of the rooms is more likely to be described as run-down. Repair work is being done here on a temporary basis. The electrical wiring I would call a “frickle”. You can hardly turn around in the bathroom. The photographer in charge of photos on the Internet is a master of his profession. In the fridge was mold (thank Sagrotan). The mattresses were not inviting, fortunately we had large dog blankets with us. The bed linen was okay. Bringing breakfast to the room was forgotten on the first morning. We were then invited to have breakfast in the accompanying pancake house, which was okay. The kitchenette was uninviting to eat here in the room anyway. Daily cleaning was “unprofessional”. Charging €300 per day for this is simply audacity! The weather was great, but we left two days early.

Charming - Great Location - Unfortunately Noisy

We spent 3 great days in Domburg. This b&b is just next to the beach, which was wonderful. The room was cute, and we enjoyed the balcony where we had breakfast and relaxed at the end of the day. Breakfast was huge and very nice : eggs every day (cooked differently), jam, cold cuts, fresh rolls, croissants, juice. But even though we enjoyed our stay, I confess that we came back home exhausted. The house is really noisy, the walls between rooms are too thin, and it is badly isolated I presume. The last morning I was up at 7am (not my idea of a vacation) - a baby upstairs was crying, but the worse was to listen to people walking above my head. It sounded like there were elephants in the house. Then the staff started its shift : the coffee machine needed cleaning, the phone was ringing, doors opened and closed. Not great.
To be honest I am not sure I would go back.

Great and comfortable place with easy parking

We had reserved room 4. The bed is extremely comfortable, the bathroom is small but functional and with all necessary furniture. The tap is trendy, changing colour depending of the water temperature.
Large breakfast is served in the room at the convenience time of the guests: coffee-tea-eggs-different types of bread-cheeses-marmalade-chocolate-water and orange juice.
The house is well isolated from the outside so that you can expect a cold room despite 25-30°C outside.
The internal isolation is good but might let the noise of physical activities spread around. So you won't wake up because of other guests if you sleep but you might hear them a bit if they are noisy. Didn't disturb us at all.

Friendly place, thin walls (expect to wake up early).

This B&B has recently been renovated in a friendly, airy style.
In fact, the last of the renovation was going on as we stayed here, which was unfortunate as we were woken by loud building noises. Even if there is no building work, expect to be woken early by other guests bumbling about, as the walls are quite thin. If you are an early riser, the place is nice.
Location: good. 3 minutes from the sea, 5 minutes to the touristy center of Domburg. 3 minutes to a spa/public swimming pool. Breakfast: a little expensive for my tastes, but you do get value for your money. As it is a B&B, the room rates are a little under the hotel rates around Domburg. All rooms are airy, charming, smallish, similar. (We secretly peeped inside when there were no other guests staying). Front one has a balcony.
