Cosy hotel, ideal for families or couples who want peace and beauty

This hotel is a true oasis of peace in Samarkand. The city center is easy and quick to reach by Yandex Go, and there are shops and restaurants nearby, while the hotel itself is located in a prestigious, quiet area. The service is premium: the staff are always around and genuinely eager to help.
The breakfasts are delicious, the rooms are pleasant, and the courtyard is very cozy. It is especially nice to spend time here on the terrace, in the garden, or by the pool.
Overall, this is a high-end place that feels warm, homely, and family-run. I will gladly come back here when I return to Samarkand.

Best place to stay in Samarkand

If you’re ever in this part of the world, I would highly recommend staying at the Green House Eco Hotel in Samarkand. Tucked away in a quieter part of the city, this hotel is an oasis and a great place to detox from life’s daily grind. The owner, Gayrat, and his wife have crafted a space that reflects the charm and cultural essence of Samarkand.
It’s located in a Mahallas, a residential district. The facade of the hotel may seem nondescript; however, upon stepping through the metal door, you will be transported into a hidden sanctuary adorned with fruit trees. There is a gazebo that seats larger groups and a quaint little breakfast corner that evokes the serene pace of life here.
I came with a family of 5, and the owner put us up on the upper floor with 3 rooms connected by a corridor. The kids' room had 3 beds, and we were given a separate room with a king-size bed. As mentioned by other reviewers, the rooms are cozy but tastefully done. The rooms have reading lights which is a rare convenience in hotels here. The thickness of the blankets provided were also appropriate for the cooler evenings. All rooms have attached bathrooms. Our room had a window overlooking the lovely garden.
The pool is small but great for a dip, especially during the Samarkand summers. Breakfast was good, with fresh salads, local breads, omelettes, and sausages. Dinner can be provided with advance notice.
This is a great place if you want a totally different experience from the cookie-cutter fancier hotels. Oh, and the Wi-Fi is great, ensuring you can stay connected to your daily grind :)

Nice place to stay

This is really nice place with beautiful garden and swimming pool. Rooms are brand new decorated and cozy . Breakfast was ok. Hosts made an effort to provide us nice stay and we had it. The only thing which is not so good is location. It is far away from a center of the city but you can take a taxi which costs only 2 EUR so it was not a problem. I would recommend this place to everyone as it was the best accomodation in Uzbekistan that we stayed.
