Parking can be challenging, as onsite parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If the car park is full, guests need to park on the main road, which can be quite busy.
My main concern was during check-in. I was asked to write my credit card details on a piece of paper for the $100 room bond. I was not comfortable providing my card details in this manner and requested that the bond be processed through the EFTPOS machine instead. Although there were some technical difficulties initially, the machine eventually worked, and the bond was processed securely.
As we were leaving early in the morning, we were unable to locate a key drop box, so we left the room key on the bench inside the room.
Unfortunately, the receptionist was not particularly welcoming during our stay. A warmer and more customer-focused approach at reception would have made a positive difference to the overall experience.
Overall, the location and cleanliness were definite positives, but improvements in customer service, parking availability, and check-in procedures would enhance the guest experience.

Avoid this place, unpleasant angry manager, retaliation charges.
We stayed for 3 nights while our teenage kids competed at a Ballroom and Latin National Dance comp and luckily only ended up in the rooms to sleep late at night leaving early each morning. The rooms stunk, wife and kids thought like urine but I thought it was a chemical smell like oven cleaner. I got used to it but everyone else didn't, it irritated younger sons asthma. The motel had no vacancy sign lit up so we though no point in complaining and we were only there briefly. Was supposed to have a working kitchenette, that was old and worn and we gave up on it as one element didn't work and the 'working element' took 1 hour to hard boil 7 eggs.
Wife told the manager about the smell when we checked out, only informing her, nothing else and manager got angry, blamed us for closing windows etc. When we got back home they charged our Visa extra for the rooms and for 'breaking an ironing board' - which we never used nor broke, I suspect retaliation for saying the room smelled. Luckily we didn't hire a car and were within walking distance of the venue (large reason we booked it) as there are only a few onsite car parks, no where enough for the units and street parking is limited to certain hours.
Given the problems and attitude it sounds like it's still the same manager/owner..
