WIGOT GARDENS - A HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

Wogot gardens - This is truly home away from home.
The courteousness of the staff all the way from the security guards, the receptionist to the public area attendants, who were all very professional, not to forget the numerous and overwhelming greetings every time you pass by them.
The room was very welcoming. The beddings, the ambiance and the quietness of the room was amazing.
In the morning, you do not need to set your "wake up alarm", as we have a natural alarm that wakes you up.......take a guess........the numerous birds ushering in the new day. If you want to see different species of birds, go to Wigot gardens.
Ohhh, I almost forgot. In the evening, you do not need to have sundowner music...just seat at the balcony and listening to the weaver birds plus other bird species sing for you their beautiful choral songs as the sun goes down.
Take a sumptuous breakfast carefully done by the chefs here. The wait staff are very friendly and makes your day. The restaurant is well set that you can even work while having your meals in the restaurant. The restaurant has sockets that you can charge your laptop/ phone while there.
Recreation facilities. I envy the great and clean swimming pool that the hotel has. You'll have a view of the city of Kisumu as you swim or just busk on the sun at the pool restaurant. I also cannot forget to mention the Totos corner which your child will enjoy.
For us who love outdoor spots, I can say that a morning jog all the way to the main road down to Kajulu hills - as you navigate through the steep hill, gives you the cardio exercise that is needed. The thick indigenous trees gives you the needed oxygen as you pump your heart to the steep accent and descent.
For sure, this is a place I will call my home.
Guys, one more thing.........I didn't know this hotel has a training school for hospitality. "Wigot school of hospitality". I just realized this when I was there. Take advantage and enrol your kins who need to get hospitality professional training.
Shout outs.
Special shout out to the receptionists, specifically Margaret, who is 101% professional and very helpful.
Also, salute to one pool attendant who always was very much articulate on his duties to make the pool clean.
Lastly, the security guard who when you drive out, she checks the drive way to ensure your way is clear to the main road both when you start your run or even drive out.

A cool place.

Located at the outskirts of Kisumu town, the garden gives a cool atmosphere and a place to rest. The rooms are big and spacious, though not new. They were clean, and the beds were too big. Enjoyed time in the pool. The chef can do better on their meals, and breakfast service can be improved.
