A lovely retreat!
The farmhouse is set in well maintained gardens which lead up to a pool area which is just lovely on a sunny day, just don't forget your mosquito spray!.
The rooms are all different in design but immaculately clean with rustic features and there is the lovely addition of a bottle of wine which appears in the fridge when the rooms are cleaned daily, a lovely touch, and all of the rooms on the ground floor lead out to table and chairs so that you can drink it in pretty surroundings! The only thing missing was tea/coffee facilities, so if you like a cuppa you may need to bring your own kettle.
There are other nice touches though, such as plenty of coat hangers and hanging space for your clothes which is often restricted in modern hotels and the hospitality of the farmhouse owners who are lovely people who focus on making your stay as enjoyable as possible,
Breakfast is between 8-10 am and it is continental/traditional Italian with meats, cheese, jam, toast, cereal, yoghurts and homemade sweet pastries/cake. If you like an English breakfast then book somewhere else, here things are typically authentic and better for it although some fruit would have been a lovely addition as there are plenty of fruit trees in the gardens!!
The farmhouse is very close to the bus stop which will take you directly into Florence (Firenze) in around 15 minutes and there are a couple of recommended restaurants nearby so there is absolutely no reason whatsoever not to book, I would not hesitate to return, I travelled with a party of 8 and we were all charmed by the setting and the people, we had a wonderful time there and I hope to return some day soon.
Very good location
