Perfect Catania Location

If you’re looking for an ideal location in Catania to explore and enjoy the city, Trinity Palace is it. A very warm welcome from Fabio who made sure we had everything we needed and explained all we needed to know. The location and building is classic Italian with very clean and well equipped rooms. You can see the passion the family has in their hotel for from the decor to the detail. With the room to come and go as you please it was a truly memorable stay in a beautiful city.

Great host

This is not a hotel but, rooms in a family home, but the room we stayed in was large and clean, the family are lovely. We had a bit of a breakdown in communication when organising our arrival time but it was sorted out and fabrizio is a lovely person who genuinely cares. Our room was at street level and it can be a bit noisy during the day as the kids watch tv in the next room. I imagine that the extra fees to leave bags etc are due to lack of space, late arrival fee as the owner works and would need to take time off work to get back to let you in. The thing that we found confusing is it being called a hotel and our expectations were based on this. The curtain doesn’t cover the window in the downstairs room but ask for some pegs and it works well. The position of the hotel is good, Catania centre isn’t very big and it’s easy to navigate. We didn’t have the breakfast but fabrizio made us an espresso that was really good. I would recommend this “hotel”.

Location and value!

This place is ideally located close to the centre but far enough away to feel you have a comfortable get away... It's not a 'hotel' as such but a family run place where the host Fabrizio goes out of his way to make you feel at home... We had a great stay here and I would stay again - thanks Fabrizio - and enjoy! ; )

Quaint family run hotel in an ideal location

First, the location is perfect. You're a brisk 5-minute walk from Piazza Duomo. It could not have been better for us as we tackled the city by foot. Second, Fabrizio and his family are friendly, attentive, and helpful. They were excellent hosts.
Our room was clean and our bed was very comfortable. We had a balcony of sorts, not much of a view, but the room was nice with plenty of wardrobe space. We had a shared bathroom but it was kept very clean and was only used by a couple of rooms during our stay. The wifi is free but a little dodgy from the rooms, best in the kitchen.
Breakfast was included, which is not usually something I care for, but Fabrizio goes out each morning for chocolate or cream pastries and you're provided yogurt, croissants, jam, honey, and coffee. It's a smallish continental style breakfast but the pastries were excellent.
We arrived early and stored our luggage before check-in and after check-out and for €20 Fabrizio will transport you and your guests to the airport.
If you need a formal, 'proper' hotel then this is not your cup of tea. It is almost as if you're staying with friends with the friendliness of the staff and the somewhat intimate surroundings. If you want to feel less like a tourist and care for local hospitality then book here.
We will book again for the location and the service but opt for a private bath next time.

Sicily tour

Very nice family small hotel , comfortable ,good price very near to the duomo. 5 min walk , the owner and his wife very friendly and the little boy spiderman and the puppy , stay here 2 nights first night and the last night of our trip , if you come to Catania very nice to stay .. Thanks
