Good customer service but the rest ...

Central location, a good number of sea-view rooms (including ours), good assistance provided for requests, and the welcoming nature of the staff. These are the positive points of this hotel from which, honestly, we expected more.
Room, furnishings, and details of all kinds that are now more than outdated, really in need of renewal; for example, a shower shelf that was almost coming off the wall or balcony chairs made of hard plastic that become difficult to use in the sun.
Disappointing breakfast: the choice of a croissant (or pasticciotto) and a drink - so far so good - and then a mini-buffet with four items in total.
From a (nearly) seaside hotel, centrally located, now historic, rated three stars, it is the least one can expect to request a higher level of aesthetic and service quality, especially given the price.

Hotel with breakfast limit

Great location.
Basic but nice room for one night: 60 euros per night with breakfast.
Deplorable breakfast: croissant coffee yogurt and juice..no buffet, no bread, no cheese.

“HOTEL RIZIERI” Beautiful experience

"HOTEL RIZIERI" located in the center of Santa Maria di Leuca via Cristoforo Colombo nr.22 enjoys a view of the sea. We stayed two days from 27.09. to the morning of 29.09.2025. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the owner of the aforementioned Hotel very kind person. The eating (lunch and dinner) all good and especially abundant staff of the restaurant, the Bar and the cleaners of the rooms polite highly professional rooms spotless. Great value for money.
We highly recommend it to all those people who want to spend beautiful days. Thanks to the owner and all the staff. We will return when before.

Acceptable hotel in relation to the price. Low quality of the restaurant

We stayed at this hotel while we were on the Salento trail. Great location and cleanliness of the rooms. Unfortunately, dinner is not recommended. We had 4 seafood risottos, but the quality of the dish was not good, the rice and fish were not related to each other. It resembled boiled rice mixed at the time with fish. In one of the vegetable side dishes ordered, we reported that there was a snail but the waiter did not make a dent. Another waiter, in the heat of placing the dish on the table, spilled rice on the pants and the carrier of one of us staining them: no excuse on his part, indeed he said that the rice does not grease and therefore does not stain; when we asked him the stain remover he replied that he had it but it did not work. In short, the professionalism of the staff in the room is low, the quality is low. The quality of the breakfast was also mediocre.
