Cheap and don't expect too much

Located near of hotspring, and housing of residents. Their price is cheap, large room, have a swimming pool and large for parking. When you stay here, dont expect too much, related with their price :)
They provide Wifi access for free.

cheap hotel with big room

we stayed here for one night, the staffs were friendly and warmed, the price is cheap, they allowed 5 people in one room, the room is big. but I think this is suitable from family.
for a cheap hotel that was a luxurious to have a swimming pool, the pool was clean.
they provide free wifi, warm water for shower.

Booked for two nights, left after one

We chose Augusta because of its affordable weekend price but we were in for a shock.
The hotel room was spacious but old and in need of a thorough detailed clean.
Went to bed at around 10pm only to be woken up at midnight by an Indonesian family arriving next door with noisy children screaming at the top of their lungs, running around, moving furniture every 5 mins in their room. The mosque next door started up at 4am, and then an entire group of children went swimming in the pool in front of our room at 6am. On top of this, some kind of conference was being held in the hotel's function room and at about 7am they thought it'd be a good time to do sound checks and play Vega Boys really loud!
Breakfast was really underwhelming not worth going to.
Although easy to find the hotel's location isn't ideal as its away from the hot springs. We booked for two nights but after one we were out of there. The reception staff asked why we were checking out early and our response was " Terlalu berisik" (Too noisy!)

Don't expect too much here

I stayed for 1 night at this hotel in early September. The price was not expensive and within my budget. The location is quite good as it is located in Cipanas area, the recreational and hotspring area. The room is spacious but not extremely clean. It has a swimming pool but not a heated pool (unlike another hotel in Garut I have stayed before). The tv is old and has no satellite tv, so the programs are limited. The bathroom has shower (no tubs). Breakfast is a choice if fried rice or bread. No buffet. The room has no spectacular view, unlike some bigger hotels in Cipanas which have a nice view of the mountains. All the rooms here have no airconditioning or even a fan. At first I was a little bit worried as I am not used to sleeping without AC or fan but to my surprise, it was extremely cold at night that I had to even use the blanket to cover up. Yes, it is very cold at night in Garut.
The road this hotel is located, is pretty quiet at night. Not much activity. But it is only about 5-10 minutes drive to the town center (Garut Kota) if you want to get more options on food and do a little shopping. There is a Robinson shopping outlet there.
This was my second visit to Garut and Garut is such an interesting place. It has a lot of natural tourist attractions. The last time I climbed up Mt Papandayan to see the volcano. This time we visited Situ Bagendit. Garut is also famous for its leather products and the price is reasonable and quality is good.

Nie wieder!

Während meiner Reise durch Java habe ich eine Nacht im Agusta Garut verbrachte. Bei Check in am Abend war kein einziger englisch sprechender Mitarbeiter anwesend. Zimmer verfügt über absolut einfachste Ausstattung. Sowohl Zimmer als auch das Bad waren schmutzig. Betten durchgelegen, Wolldecken und Kissen sehr schmuddelig. Zudem war zu diesem Zeitpunkt eine größere Gruppe von Schulkinder in diesem Hotel die bis spät in die Nacht lautstark gesungen und gebrüllt haben. Um 5 Uhr war die Nacht vorüber, da die Gruppe mit Getöse in den Pool direkt vor meinem Zimmer sprang. Der Gipfel war die Tatsache, dass das Zimmer mit einem Wochendaufschlag berechnet wurde und 425 000 IR gekostet hat. Am nächsten Morgen war ein englisch sprechender Mitarbeit anwesenden. Aus Kulanzgründen wurden mir 20% des Zimmerpreises zurück erstattet. Auf das Frühstück habe ich verzichtet. Eine Übernachtungen ist hier definitiv nicht zu empfehlung!
