Short holiday

A hidden gem in Garut Indonesia, nice location, friendly people. Not realy known by foreigners. Most tourist are indonesian. We were the only foreigners. A good location with swimming pool and restaurant facilities. The must do thing is a off road trip to the vulcano area, you can also choose a sunrise or sunset trip. Streetfood is save to eat.

Fun.

Hotel rooms and villas are ok, as is the hot pool. Breakfast menu much improvement especially after the breakfast location in the new building.

Short Holiday at Garut, Staying at Caha Villa Garut Facilities Lumayan, The room is also convenient for a binyang 3 class hotel, a warm pool and Montain Guntur View.
Resto's good service is good, view of the mountain too.

Better coffee please

We only stayed one day at this hotel. And used both lunch, dinner and breakfast. Warm welcome in this hotel which I estimate was built around 1985. In the main house ordinary guest rooms (one of which we used). Spacious room with good bed, desk and balcony. As in almost all hotels we visited this holiday, the bathroom could use a descaling. Showering in the bath .. no problem for us but still annoying for (still) older guests. Large swimming pool available, possibility for massage etc.. Good kneading for little money, my partner told me. At the hotel Villas, in two rows along a beautiful canal. Looking good. Lunch and dinner okay, but small menu. Breakfast even more exuberant than in our previous hotels ... long buffet with all kinds of hot Indonesian dishes and also hot pastas etc.. Western European breakfast a bit meagre ... lots of sweets. Enfin. Just swallow as far as coffee is concerned .. or rather .. do not swallow. One offers only arabic coffee .. so ground coffee in cup, hot water on top .. drink carefully to avoid drudge. Gee, what a disappointment, this can't be! Positive ending .. the hotel is located in a beautiful valley, surrounded on all sides by high mountains, including two volcanoes that still have the status of active. From the semi-open dining room a beautiful view of the surroundings.
