Great with room for improvement
overwhelming service and hospitality. The staffs gave us 5 star service and we cannot thank them enough.
As for the facilities, we were impressed with the 3 diff pools that also very closeby to the beach. The free shuttle service to Seminyak Square was helpful.
However, the water in shower room was having some strange odour. Also we had issues with card reader to open the door everytime we come back. We had to call someone from the reception to open the door for us. Probably it was our luck to get the room with a faulty card reader. Other than that, it’s a good, comfortable, warm stay for us!

Beautiful Bali
Our stay at the Alila was relaxing and memorable. We were there for my husband's 70th birthday. A surprise cake arrived in our room from the hotel. The studios were quiet and had everything we needed. The service was exceptional - from arrival at check-in, the waiters and waitresses to the drivers of the buggies. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

A five-star experience on a first trip to Bali.
I can't speak enough about how friendly and attentive the staff were whom I encountered throughout the stay. Everyone made me feel valued and welcomed, and made the experience wonderful. The facilities were excellent, beautiful, and well-suited for my first visit to Bali. The room was well attended, exceedingly comfortable, and the dining was fantastic at both Seasalt and the Beach Bar. The pool area views were incredible, especially for sunsets.
If the Studios are available for a great rate and you are reading this trying to figure out whether you should do that or book higher to stay in the main building: if you have 2 feet, book the Studios. I booked a wonderful deal for 4 nights in the Studios and it is just a couple minute walk to the pool/lobby/dining/etc (but also has its own lobby and flatbread pizza place too if needed!) - it is not far at ALL. Or if you really don't feel like it, they do run golf carts back and forth (all of a 1-minute ride). There were rainy days during my stay and well-situated with large umbrella containers for use moving building to building.
The hotel experience exceeded my expectations with attention to detail, hospitality, design, comfort, and amenities; and most importantly was a seamless experience for my first time visiting Bali. I will not hesitate to look up Alila Seminyak again the next time I visit in the future.

Bali dirty place
Problem with internet in studio room.
Small room without balcony view to the rooftop of old buildings. Long walk from the building to the beach and main building on hot sun 32 C. Bali is very dirty place

First time in Bali
Lovely peaceful stay. Great sunset view at the beach bar. Clean and spacious rooms. Awesome service at value pricing at the Studios at Alila. Short buggy ride to main hotel where we can use the facilities.
