Worst experience of Whole Udaipur
On reaching the property, we were shocked to find that the rooms shown to us were nothing like the Executive Room shown in their online photos. We even checked the Deluxe Room, and the size was almost the same. The photos also give the impression of a mountain view, but in reality, the front view is of their own lawn and the back faces a construction site.
Since the Deluxe Room was ₹1,000 cheaper and we found no meaningful difference in space, we requested them to adjust our advance accordingly. Instead, the staff rudely offered only a ₹500 adjustment and gave us two options: take the Deluxe Room with ₹500 less or cancel and take a refund. Because of their extremely rude and unprofessional behaviour, we chose the refund.
What happened next was even worse. They initially agreed to refund the ₹1,000 on Monday and we simply requested a WhatsApp confirmation. The staff refused multiple times and eventually sent a message saying the amount would be refunded after deducting UPI charges—despite us paying by credit card.
When we questioned this, the argument escalated and the staff even told us, “I didn’t refund your money, do whatever you want.” We have the conversation/recording of the incident.
Today is 4 September 2026, and despite repeatedly calling them, we still have not received our ₹1,000 refund. Their only response is that the accountant isn’t available and that the refund has already been processed.
This entire experience was unacceptable—from misleading room presentation and views to rude staff behaviour and an unresolved refund.
Think twice before booking this property. The way customers are treated here is simply not acceptable.
