Amazing river view location with great hospitality...

We had a amazing experience at Kandamath Heritage Resort..
Small river facing resort with four single bedroom cottages and two double bedroom cottages. All are Kallada river facing....
We group of 5 friends stayed from 24/11/19 to 25/11/19... Rooms are small but clean and well maintained.. Good ambience...
All cottages have great river views
from the balcony/ sit out.. You can have bath in the Kallada river...
The host Alex was very helpful and always act.. Biju prepares very
delicious food.. but you have to preorder..
We had a memorable stay.. Amazing place...

Just about okay!

It was a 2-day stay, however felt it was longer than that!! Thenmala is just being promoted as a eco-tourism thingie by the Govt. So aside the Dam visit and the eco parks, there is nothing much to do.
The rooms are quite small, albeit have a TV and AC! Insects can be troubling during the night. The river behind had rising water levels, so no scope of boating and getting down to the banks. No fish pedicure either. Cleanliness can improve big time. Food was okay, because the options were limited. We were slightly irked when they ran out on Day 2's lunch and said the bigger college group "finished" everything and there was hardly anything left for us. Breakfast was only Idiappam and Dinner was only Chapathi.
The staff however were very courteous and helpful. Thanks to the TV, we were able to kill time. I think this would be a decent stop over option after visiting the dam/other sights and proceed to Kollam/Trivandrum the next day!

Pleasent Stay

The resort is situated at a calm place. Well maintained, with the beautiful garden and along the riverside are added vaues. Food is well prepared and has a good quality. Courteous attendants and care taker.

One option in kulathupuzha

There is only one hotel inkulsthupuzha . It is a tourist place with full of forest .sree sastha temple is one of the famous temple in kulathupuzha . This hotel is ok with limited options . Service was good

We had a friends get together in Kandamath heritage Resort, Homely food,Treated as gust to the home, swimming in the river,the highlight was natural Fish Pedicures Enjoyed...
easy road access, nice river view from the room lobby.
