Save Yourself the Trauma – Avoid This Place at All Costs!!
Fairly clean and hot shower water. That is, it.
Cons:
• Welcome Gift: ₹2000 Deposit Demand Before Arrival
Booked the stay, instantly got a call asking for a deposit — because obviously we look like the kind of people who’d trash their precious shack. Classy start, right?
• Villa? More Like Shared PG with a Fancy Label:
The listing says “2-bedroom villa” but it is a 1-building circus with 4 rooms (2 up, 2 down) — and surprise! The owner & caretaker gave our correct ground floor rooms to someone else. We were dumped upstairs with none of the promised amenities for 2 nights. Then got "shifted" like a game of musical chairs.
• Amenity Blackhole: All that jazz in the listing — kitchen, dining table, sofa, etc.? They exist only if you’re blessed enough to get the downstairs rooms. Otherwise, it’s just four walls and disappointment.
• Frozen Horror Show: No heaters, no heating in the whole villa, and the wash basin gives you glacier water. With 16°C outside and rain pouring, they handed us a few blankets and expected us to survive like Himalayan monks.
• Surprise! A Spider in Bed: Found a live spider under my duvet. Because what is better than sharing your bed with an uninvited, possibly venomous pet?
• “Lake View” – Only on Paper: The only “lake view” here is the name of a hotel down the road. Actual lake? Not visible. Road to the villa? A nightmare — steep, broken, narrow, and not even worth the journey. But hey, false advertising is free, right? And this place is far from the city and common sense. Good luck parking too—only 2 slots and a narrow lane that would stress out a seasoned off-roader.
• Caretaker = Clueless, Useless & Cold: Did not help with bags, did not apologize, did not care. Took full payment and delivered half the stay.
Hospitality level: NEGATIVE 100.
Final Advice: This place deserves to be blacklisted. Unless you enjoy being ripped off and freezing to death. DO. NOT. BOOK.
