Good breakfast option with view to the Danube

We wanted to find a place to eat buffet breakfast, so we have chosen this beautiful new hotel.
The staff were very welcoming and nice. The breakfast offering was varied and everything was freshly baked and cooked.
All in all a good breakfast experience, we’ll definitely come back.

Terrible service

Apartment was fresh with ice view for river or basilica, but the quality of service is not acceptable. I have been charged double by hotel for one night. I prove it with bank account and invoices. In total I wrote 17 emails with no answer for more than 30 days. Manager of hotel doesn’t care at all about that case.
No payback and no statement from the hotel. I still wait for any support from hotel side.
But it is only beginning of my story with Villa Gran. Next stay was total disaster.
I was driving to the hotel and informed them by email that they forgot to send me check in details. I tried to reach them by phone, email anything but nobody was replying. At the end nobody was there, and I had to take another hotel.
Later hotel said it was not themes fault, it is some system ect. No apologies, no support, no trying to solve the case.
With that quality of customer care, I do not recommend anyone to visit that place. Double charge with no willingness to return money and zero contact with no chance to check-in during the night.

Beautiful room and location

Beautiful room with view of the river. Lovely surroundings. Breakfast ok and coffees made to order. No 24/7 reception which caused a bit of a panic when our room card wouldn’t work after dinner one night. There is a number to call and it was sorted with a temp replacement card. Additional charge if want towels or bedding changed more than once in 3 days. Very supportive of recognising environmental impact of unnecessary laundry but this wasn’t expected.

Modern Hotel with views over the Danube

I used this hotel for a two night business stay. I regularly visit Esztergom, this hotel is very well located. Close to the river, walking distance to the Basilica and five minutes walk into town. Hotel was very clean and modern. Room was comfortable and had fridge, safe etc. Bathroom was spacious. My room was on the back of the hotel with a balcony over looking the Danube, this was a nice bonus. In my opinion breakfast was served too late 8-10 and the choice was very limited. I did not use the Hotel for dinner. Parking is not directly at the hotel, however it is just a short three minute walk away.
