Our room was comfortable and most of the staff were very nice. The person who checked us in was fairly rude and refused to help. We had booked a shuttle after hours and she just kept repeating the normal times of the shuttle to us until our friend who speaks Spanish as a first language intervened and repeated that we had already made the arrangement. We then asked her where to send a post card and she said it wasn’t possible from anywhere. If she did not understand our Spanish, she did not ask any questions. She was completely helpful to our friend from another Spanish-Speaking country. No one else in Guatemala had trouble understanding our Spanish or they just asked for clarification.

Excellent stay from start to finish. The hotel is located in a great area, very clean, and well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, and the breakfast was superb with plenty of great options. Everyone made the experience enjoyable and comfortable. I will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed here last year, and chose to stay again. The room was a little dated, some nicks and dents especially in the bathroom, but the bed was large and comfortable, the a/c worked perfectly, and the hot water was reliable. Breakfast was wonderful, with a choice of several entrees, all with fruit, bread, juice, coffee, plantains, and refried beans. There were also some pastries available if you're still hungry! Location is great, many restaurants nearby, and the large Oakland Plaza Mall is less than a mile away. I felt very safe walking around the area.

Very good and complete breakfast provided. Good location to many good restaurants and shopping. Rooms are clean.
