Excellent hotel! Very friendly staff and hotel owners. It’s a family owned place - you feel the heart and soul put into it all! Very good coffee and drinks-make use of the bar, it’s a very pleasant place, calm, close to the beach and with great music! Good salads and sandwiches, nice fruit juices, professionally made drinks and super cool vibe! Love this place and will definitely be back!

VERY VERY DISSATISFIED!!!!
If you don’t want a headache, do not stay at this hotel!
Let’s start with the room, which is old and in desperate need of renovation!!! During our 7-night stay, there was no water for 4 days, several times throughout the day, and this is completely unacceptable! During the first two days, we had to shower with hot water because if you turned the tap toward the cold side, there was no water at all.
The mattress caused us back pain, and during the entire 7-night stay, I didn’t sleep comfortably even once. The room had a refrigerator so small that it was difficult to even fit a bottle of water inside, let alone any fruit.
The towels were old and yellow from years of use. The clothes-drying rack on the balcony was completely rusty, so much so that it was impossible to hang our swimsuits on it without them getting stained.
And just think — I paid €142 PER NIGHT!!! The price-to-quality ratio is absolutely shameful!
Now let’s move on to the sun loungers, which were included in the price. Yes, they were technically free, but the service was a complete nightmare. They had the most expensive prices in the area for coffee and water, and you had to wait 20–30 minutes for your order.
The daytime waiters were extremely slow, and one day we asked for water only to be told that they had actually run out of water at the beach bar!!!
The next day, they told us that we were not allowed to bring anything from outside, even though their own service was far from satisfactory.
So, paying this much money just to get these kinds of services simply because the hotel is right by the sea is a mistake I will never make again.
And worst of all, we had no internet in the room for two days because it had broken down, and there was apparently no technician available to fix it.
So what exactly are we talking about here? Where is the standard?
The beach waiters would take payment for the day’s consumption and then forget to give you your change!!!! I actually pointed this out to the waiter in question, and he STILL forgot to give me my money back! I had to go to the manager!
So what exactly does this hotel offer?
For me, it’s a BIG NO.
I have been spending my holidays in Pefkochori for 4 years, and this was the only negative experience I have ever had. I will never return to this hotel.
The only reason I chose a different hotel this year was because the hotel I usually stay at was fully booked. Otherwise, Marabou in Pefkochori desperately needs to be completely re-managed from the ground up!
I hope my experience is useful to anyone considering staying here.

We stayed at the hotel and used its beach for 3 nights. Overall, the hotel was adequate, the air conditioning worked; there were some shortcomings, but they provided them when we requested them.
Additionally, to use the beach, you need to pay €50 for two people. This is a spending limit, and you are allowed to use it. The food and drinks were good, and the prices were similar to other establishments.
Overall, we were pleased with the hotel and the beach; our only suggestion is that it would be even better if hotel guests could use the sun loungers for free.
Thank you for everything, I will definitely stay here if I come to Pefkohori again :)

Very cozy bar, good coffee and delicious cocktails
Tonight we first had coffee in this cozy bar and then a mojito and a spicy mango cocktail. Despite the fact that the time for coffee was a bit over, we were still very kindly helped. The coffee was delicious, the mojito exactly as it should be. The surprise was the spicy mango cocktail. Delicious!
