Wonderful time at Ilio Mare
We had another wonderful stay at Ilio Mare. This is our third year here, and we are even more satisfied every time.
Our room was beautiful- very comfortable, cleaned with cleaning products every single day. The towels were changed daily, and everything was well maintained.The food was delicious, and all the staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. A big thank you to the manager and to everyone at the reception, restaurant, pool and beach for being so incredibly kind! :) We are looking forward to vising again in September!

The rooms are not the same as those in the reservation.
My experience at this hotel was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. The room was extremely old; the refrigerator wasn't working, the toilet was constantly leaking, and the noise kept us awake at night. Although the reservation details stated that there was a coffee machine, there was no such equipment in the room.
The air conditioner didn't work the first night; it was only fixed after I complained. I requested a room change but my request was denied.
The receptionist's attitude was extremely cold and indifferent. He didn't even look us in the face while talking to us, and made no attempt to help in any way. They displayed an extremely unprofessional and indifferent attitude, saying something like, "There's nothing we can do, you're only staying for 3 days anyway, even though the room is old, we gave you a sea view."
The entire hotel was undergoing renovations. Electrical wires were exposed, and there were constant renovation noises throughout the day. Taking a break at lunchtime was almost impossible.
Despite being advertised as half-board, all drinks, including water, were charged separately at dinner. We were also disappointed because this wasn't explicitly stated.
I requested cancellation and a refund through Booking.com and checked out early (check-in on the morning of May 1st, check-out on May 2nd), but I received no assistance whatsoever. I requested a receipt for my early departure, but I wasn't given one.
I have traveled to many islands and cities in Greece over the years, but I have never had such a bad experience in my life. It's truly incomprehensible how this hotel received 5 stars. I think even 2 stars is too much.
Also, absolutely do not believe the old reviews. I've uploaded all the photos; you can clearly see the difference between the room shown in the reservation and the room I was given, as well as the overall condition of the hotel. You decide.

I am never coming back here.
The food was very poor, and they forced us to pay for water at dinner. The pool was dirty and in disrepair. The restaurant was filthy, with broken tables and rust everywhere. The staff lacked basic courtesy. There was insufficient parking. Beach staff demanded money to provide sunbeds. The shower and safe were broken; I reported this to reception, but to no avail—no one came to fix them. It is a 3-star hotel at best.

Calm and good food!
Very beautiful hotel, with beautiful gardens and nature that reminds of exotic countries! It makes you calm your mind! Very friendly staff, willing to serve everyone! I also liked the food very much, with a nice breakfast... We planned for dinner to visit around taverns, but the second day we tried the evening buffet, it pleasantly surprised us! Everything was very delicious, and well cooked!

I strongly recommend
Beautiful hotel in an excellent location friendly for families with children.
Excellent sunset with muddy beach crystal clear waters. Very friendly staff with amazing and polite manager. Marshareze too much food we had closed with breakfast and dinner.
Very clear the rooms of the green that this hotel has reminds you that you are somewhere else in Asia Bali. I strongly recommend that we will definitely come back as soon as possible.
