Magnificent stay

The villa (Rodia) is situated at a lovely quiet location with a great view and a big garden. We felt right at home. Very clean, daily cleaning of the pool, exquisite and friendly service. We would love to come back.

Don’t book! Appalling Athina Luxury villas -

We booked villa myrtle 2 months ago and paid over £5k for our stay via vrbo.
We arrived at villa at appointed time to find the security code for the keys did not trad of a . We called the owner on the number we were given. He said he would come aalong. He didn’t. We called again and we were continually cut off. We then got an email, an hour later, from vrbo to say the host had cancelled our booking. We arrived at the villa at 4pm crete time, with our two young children who had been travelling since 4am that morning. We then had to try and find accommodation for the night and then try and find accommodation for another 12 nights. Vrbo say this is the hosts fault. So Athina villas, is this your fault or vrbo? We would not book again for any of your properties. We had a very stressful time - searching for new accommodation, we had to change hotels 3 times and we incurred additional costs for taxis as well as accommodation.

Incredible!

The hosts were phenomenal, helped us with everything we could imagine. Incredible view, pools and all in all just a generally happy place. I will be thinking of these few days when time gets rough. WOW.

Fantastic Villa!

This residence had wonderful hilltop views overlooking the plains of Xamoudochori region close to Platanias, in Chania and you are guaranteed to get sunrise from the veranda or the balconies.
Excellent lodging for quiet retreat for couples or family.
I strongly recommend you to stay a few more nights to fully enjoy the peaceful environment especially if you love the Greek flora and fauna. They have little gardens around the villa area where they planted all the local plants for traditional greek cusine!
Breakfast was also kindly delivered to us every morning at your preferred timing which can be arranged with the owner in advance. The entire stay was fabulous and i am glad we found this wonderful place!

Amazing villa for worry-free holidays

I stayed at Athina Luxury Villas with my family (two adults, two children of 5 and 10) this June, for three-week holidays. This is the best self-catered holiday accommodation we've had in a very long while, and I would probably not be lying if I said it was the best ever.
At the arrival, we were greeted by Nikos, the owner, and he showed us around. The villa is very nice, and comfortable, and everything is exactly as shown in the pictures. The villa is cleaned daily, and it included everything expected and then some. We could have bath towels, pool towels, and bedsheets exchanged as often as we wanted, and the housemaid, Maria, also washed our dishes if she found dirty ones in the sink. Pool was also cleaned daily, every morning.
There were absolutely no unpleasant surprises, and there were quite a few pleasant ones. For example, on our first morning, Nikos brought us a very rich breakfast, and it was enough food to supply for quite a few more breakfasts. He did this one one more occasion, roughly half-way into our stay. Also, Maria, the housekeeping lady, asked us if we wanted fresh bread delivered, and she would bring it in the morning, all while requiring no extra charge.
Nothing was impossible and nothing was complicated. Whatever we asked for, we got.
All in all, this was a great holiday experience, worth every cent.
