Highly recommend, great location (for pistes and amenities locally), very friendly staff, very clean facilities & rooms!

Really enjoyed our stay and definitely would come back. Staff are exceptionally helpful, friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is nice, room quality is good, spacious and clean, easy access to restaurants, shops and bars. Excellently located to get to the lifts (2min walk to allow a ski down to the main lifts Tichot, Bollin, Les Lanches and Funiculaire (to get up to Grande Motte). Includes to a clean and well kept ski locker room (and boot warmers!) which is really helpful. Couldn’t recommend the hotel enough!

Very basic unclean hotel

The staff are friendly, but unfortunately the hotel itself is very disappointing. It was once rated four stars—something you can still see on the sign outside, where one star has been coloured in with a marker pen. In reality, it now feels closer to a two-star standard at best.
Our room was not cleaned at any point during our stay. We had to ask reception to have the bin emptied and to provide more toilet roll. The whole room was unclean - in the attached picture you can see the dirt and dust on the wardrobe rail. The shaving mirror had clearly been wiped with a dirty cloth—so much so that a previous guest had written “clean me” in the residue.
The room was also uncomfortably hot, even with the radiator turned off. We had no choice but to keep the window open at all times, despite freezing temperatures and snow outside.
The communal bar was advertised as opening from 4pm, but it never opened during our stay. Breakfast was very basic, and both food and crockery frequently ran out.
There is no jacuzzi or spa in this hotel - that closed some time ago.
The only positive is the location, but there are far better hotels nearby. I would recommend avoiding this one.

Pleasant stay but could SO easily be so much better for guests!

Lovely small hotel in a fabulous location. Room as expected and facilities good. Ski room great and so easy to access our stuff and get straight outside. Breakfast was ok but only ok. Only scrambled eggs and bacon each day as hot choice was limiting. Coffee machine often run out of coffee when we had breakfast a bit later - disappointing to say the least. Staff were pleasant but not what I was expecting after reading many 5 star trip advisor reviews which was disappointing. Some guests were expecting a hot tub as trip advisor information about the hotel had offered - however no hot tub - we were told the hotel had recently changed hands so surely they need to get rid of the reviews which pertain to previous owners as they are now misleading. It also says there is fridge in mini bar in rooms - not in ours. Lovely breakfast area with great views and also cosy bar area but we could only use this bar area when the bar was open - 5 - 7pm . What a shame such a lovely communal area couldn't be used by people in the hotel to just go and relax in and socialise with each other or have some peace and quiet rather than be in bedrooms all of the time when in the hotel - this is a great shame and we felt REALLY let the hotel down. Hardly anyone used the bar for drinks when we were there at 5 til 7 so why not just open it up as a communal lounge area for residents - would be SUCH a better use. We were told the evening before we left for a 5am pick up that there would be a take away breakfast for us however this did not happen. Would I stay again? Probably not as it is currently although this has the potential to be a really special place if the new owners give it some thought.

Very convenient hotel within walking distance to ski lift and many bars/restaurants

We booked this last minute - day before as we had a hotel for a week booked in Val d'Isère but arrived a day early so needed a night in a hotel.
We had 2 rooms, we are a family of 4. The hotel is very conveniently located, very near ski lift and many restaurants. The hotel was quiet and comfortable. It is fairly basic but if you are going to be out most of the time skiing and then out for dinner/drinking this is perfect. The reception staff were very friendly. We only found out by accident that you need a code to get back in after a certain time (think 10 pm) at night so luckily we weren't caught out. I didn't have breakfast but I believe a continental breakfast is included in the price. There is no parking which was a bit of a pain as we had a car. There is a ski locker with individual locks.

Brilliant stay!

We had a brilliant stay at this hotel, we came for a weeks skiing holiday through Crystal and the hotel was a perfect location for us right next to a lift! The hotel was clean, the staff were helpful and it was warm which was nice to get ski stuff dried.
We also enjoyed the breakfast each morning, there was plenty to choose from and was all very good!
