Hôtel Victoria Lyon Perrache Confluence is located in the Presqu'île, in the heart of Lyon, just 300 metres from the Parrache TGV and Metro Station. It is also just a 10-minute walk from Place Bellecour and Confluence.

In general, when one returns to a hotel, it is not trivial; this is the second stay in this hotel, once again the experience is very positive.
A huge thank you to the teams who personalized our room in connection with the event we came to celebrate as a couple, the little attentions that create a lot of pleasure and that particularly touched us, it is this kind of detail that makes the difference.
The stay was perfect, from the reservation to our departure, including the value for money; we spent 2 nights in your hotel and we have nothing negative to say.
The hotel is 3 minutes from the Perrache train station, 5 minutes from the metro & tram, and 1 minute from Brasserie Georges.
The bedding is very comfortable, the room was spacious and clean, even though we would have preferred a room with a clearer view and towards the outside.
The bathroom is a bit small considering my large size, but I managed to take showers nonetheless.
The breakfast is plentiful and restocked very regularly.
The staff we encountered is simply perfect, smiling, helpful, and has a remarkable sense of service. We interacted with 5 different people during our stay, all maintaining the same level of quality; well done and thank you.
However, for a fair and credible review, I would recommend 2-3 points for improvement that do not detract from all the positives.
Air conditioning in the rooms would be appreciated, as we had a weekend at 30°C, especially for the rooms not facing the street, since the proximity and distance of our room (16) to the opposite rooms does not allow us to open the window without being seen. Despite the fan provided in the room, we were very hot.
Another point, the bathroom; an additional 30cm shower cubicle would be ideal for optimal comfort.
One last small detail, plain sandwich bread would have suited me better than whole grain sandwich bread for breakfast, but this point is just my personal taste and does not detract from the quality of the breakfast.
Without a doubt, during our next stay in Lyon, we will return to this hotel.

A good budget hotel
Victoria is close to Perrache Station and also the famous Brasserie Georges restaurant. The neighborhood is not so nice we thought. The hotel is great though: above all, the staff are fantastically nice and helpful! However, our room was far too cramped and had a large plastic cabin as a bathroom. Nowhere to put the toiletries, for example. Nor could you hang the towels in a good way. So it didn't match the photos on the website at all. Breakfast is good with some to choose from, but a little too expensive in our opinion (15 euros).

Concernant le quartier, notre établissement bénéficie effectivement d’un emplacement central, à proximité de la gare de Perrache et de la Brasserie Georges, permettant de rejoindre facilement les principaux sites de Lyon. Nous sommes toutefois désolés que l’environnement immédiat ne vous ait pas pleinement convenu.
Enfin, nous sommes heureux que vous ayez apprécié la variété de notre petit-déjeuner, même si nous comprenons que son tarif de 15 € ait pu vous paraître élevé.

Welcoming staff
We booked this hotel for a 2 night stay a couple of weeks ago.
The welcome we received was lovely, and all the reception staff we spoke too were willing to help in any way they could.
Our standard room was clean, and whilst the bathroom is a little on the small side it was perfectly fine for a 2 night stay.
Sadly we had to make the decision to move hotels for our second night, the only reason for this was our desperate need for air conditioning which the room didn't have. Whilst there was a fan in our room, we struggled too much with the extreme heat at the time (it was nearly 40c degrees) . It was a real shame as everything else about the hotel was fine.
The staff were understanding, and on a positive note they said they were getting air conditioning installed in the next year which is great news for future guests.
The welcome we received was lovely, and all the reception staff we spoke too were willing to help in any way they could.

The elevator was under repair when we were there in June. The room fans were very helpful in keeping the room cool at night.

What a lovely place this is, I was welcomed with the most gorgeous smile which is attached to Loris the receptionist...
Nothing is to much trouble, it's very quiet and you can walk your feet off in any direction, fabulous thank you....
