Unique experience

There are places and people that forever occupy a place in your heart. Thyme and chocolate is one of them. We enjoyed this magical and calm place a lot. Patrice and Caroline spare no effort to take your stay to the next level. Fun and humorous anecdotes, delicious breakfasts, tour tips, warm and friendly conversations. We felt totally at home with this beautiful creative, caring and humorous couple.
With batteries fully charged, we go home. (Also those of our electric bikes, but I'm mostly talking about ours )
Many thanks for sharing with us your beautiful place and your life stories. It was an unforgettable experience!

Magnificent stay.

What an extraordinary hidden gem! Caroline and Patrice are perfect hosts. The house is ideally located in the midst of lush green hills and is a true haven of peace and happiness.

The opinion of a donkey during his trip to the Cevennes

Thanks to Caroline and Patrice. In the middle of a heatwave, the swimming pool saved our lives and like everything in the Cevennes, the setting has to be earned (the access road is worth the detour). But then, what a haven of peace!!! A great discovery.

Great holiday

We had a wonderful week at Thym & Chocolat. It is an oasis of peace, a very nice room with a great terrace with a beautiful view. You really feel at home here. Patrice and Caroline give you a warm feeling and are very hospitable. They really make an effort for breakfast with homemade products. In addition, they give advice about fine restaurants in the area (Caroline even makes a reservation for you if you want), when it rained our things were in the house when we got home so that they stayed dry and ... not to forget, we could enjoy your guitar playing, Patrice. Thank you for giving us this wonderful holiday feeling in the Cevennes.
This place is also a good base for trips in the area

Idyllic stay in the Cevennes

We had a delightful 4 night stay in a lovely peaceful environment with spectacular views. Our room ’Thym’ was well appointed with a large private balcony overlooking beautiful countryside. Patrice and Caroline were charming hosts who were knowledgeable about the surrounding area and helped us to make the most of our stay by recommending interesting places to visit and helped us to choose and book local restaurants. Breakfast was delicious with bread, cake and preserves made by Caroline - along with very tasty pancakes. Patrice’s chocolates are memorable too. Well worth a visit.
