Overnight stay in Calais

A group of five of us spent an overnight stay at this hotel in Calais.
It was good value and we found the hotel to be perfect for our needs . As well as receiving a warm welcome from the hosts, they spent time in socialised with us during the evening, which was great.
The stay was great value and perfect for our needs and I would highly recommend to anybody wanting to spend a day or two in Calais and staying in the town centre area.

Our experience

Beautiful paintings , tasty breakfast , welcoming artistic owner. Nice to experience how to live in high ceilings Victorian building. Not welcoming bed , dark bed spread We used our private sleeping bags over the night Owner please replace the quilt and the pillows and the bed spreads for white Thank you.

Amazing property

Absolutely amazing place. Great prices and very close to shops, le shuttle, restaurants, bars and beach.
There are a few steps upto the property and the house is huge with stairs. All bedrooms are up stairs.
Each room is decorated differently and beautifully, breakfast was adequate and I was asked what time I'd like it for. There is WiFi, Netflix, prime all on the TV.
The hosts were great.
It is situated on a side street that is one way, there is parking outside on the street, the hosts do have a garage that can be booked. Be aware that it fits a medium sized hatchback or smaller.
If you want character, french, for the same price as the ibis choose here. Will definitely go back.

Quirky and different

The greeting was brilliant, we were lucky enough to find a parking directly outside, tea and coffee was always available. The house is beautiful, spacious breakfast area, pool table, garden need a little bit of attention. The rooms are individual and quirky and big enough, comfortable bed, big shower room. We stayed for a night on the way to the tunnel, it was really nice.

Good location, nice service, colorful

Very colorful B&B. Nice and friendly staff, good size rooms and common area. Funny furniture and lots of colour everywhere. Location good but if you want parking for early departure (before 7am) you need to park on the street. Not a lot of spaces.
