Peaceful tranquil lovely facilities :)

We stayed here over the August bank holiday weekend . It is the perfect base for a truly relaxing break. We Had room 1 which was lovely with its own garden area where we sat having a bottle of wine one evening . Surrounded by greenery . The breakfast was simple but ample and very tastefully done . It's one of the best breakfasts we have had . Giles and Patricia make your stay as pleasant as possible . We only saw Patricia on our arrival but Giles took good care if us with suggestions of where to go. You do need a car to get around but it is a good base . We went to samur for evening meals - a 20 minute drive if that . It's only an hour from the airport (Nantes).
There is a swimming pool open after 1pm with sun loungers.
The kitchen has plenty to cater for people with picnic baskets and games too.
A very lovely experience and stay . It was too short a stay !

Beautiful gite with lovely hosts!

We have stayed two times at this lovely and peaceful gite. The owners (Gilles and Patricia) are very kind and friendly and can give you lots of good advice for visiting in the region, especially by bike, and also good restaurant recommendations. The breakfast is delicious!! Cheese, yogurts, cereal, and breads, and delicious home-made jams and pastries!! The pool is very relaxing. The gite is an historic, old building, but the rooms are very comfortable and cozy, while retaining an old-world charm. Our room had its own private garden area to relax and have an apero. This gite is a perfect place for a romantic getaway weekend!! Note that you will need a car to arrive here and to eat out at local restaurants, but there are so many lovely sites to visit nearby (the gite is about 30 minutes from both Angers and Tours). You also have access to a kitchen, if you prefer to eat at the gite and not go to a restaurant. We will visit again!!

A quiet beautiful place to stay and cycle-friendly hosts

A quiet beautiful place to stay and cycle-friendly. Very friendly hosts. Good breakfast. You may need to travel to the nearest main town (Angers) for dinner as local villages don't have too many opportunities but there is more choice for lunch. Great place to chill.

Make the time to stay here, you will not regret the decision!

The other reviews say it all! This is a beautiful Chambre D'Hote in the heart of beautiful countryside. The buildings have been sympathetically converted into state of the art rooms. There are gorgeous old pieces of furniture to look at, in our room an old wash stand and a sewing machine stand (not for use!). Everyone has their own out door space to sit in. In a cool May the central heating was appreciated! Breakfast was simple but there was plenty to choose from. Home made bread, apple juice and jam.There is a kitchen to prepare your own food, Be aware that local (i.e. within 10 miles) Restaurants tend to be lunch only. There is a Chinese/Vietnamese Restaurant in Longué-Jumelles which is open until 2200. Very good food, too. It is near The Mill, Belle d'Asie, Place de la République, Longué-Jumelles, France.

Piece of paradise in a magnificent setting!

This BnB is run by a lovely couple, Gilles et Patricia, who will do everything they can to make your stay in their home perfect. Their gite is located in the countryside, surrounded by gorgeous scenery. The rooms are immaculate, and the bathrooms have excellent water pressure, hot water, and include the basic amenities such as a hair dryer, soap, etc.. Both the bathroom and bedroom are large as well as equipped with everything you might need, such as a TV, coffee maker, etc. Patricia makes her own jams, and Gilles makes delicious apple juice and bakes his own bread. Breakfast is simple and delicious. You will need to find restaurants nearby as they do not serve lunch or dinner.
They have very good Wifi in the breakfast room and are in the process of making it available in the rooms. However, you need to have your own device.
I can't sing their praises enough. My stay here has been one of my best experiences in France. You will love the peace and quiet but most of all the natural beauty. You won't regret staying here - I promise!
