Budget friendly

We booked a room here on the advise of a friend. It was a great choice for what we needed and had excellent customer service. We arrived at the hotel about 8 , check in was easy and smooth. They use keys which was pretty interesting. Our first room had an irritating smell which was quickly resolved and the 2nd room was fresh and also clean . Yes it's an outdated hotel and it definitely could use more lighting but it was clean, safe, and centrally located. We needed an extra pillow and it was given to us, and to elaborate they had the best pillows out of anyone we've ever stayed. There is a gas station across the street for ice, beer, water , and snacks. What made me enjoy this stay was the customer service . Front desk was quick efficient, and quick to fix our 1 need. The lady who does housekeeping walked us to our new room and ensured it was adequate for us. I was impressed by this. All in all it was a good stay and we will use them again when we stay there.

very dirty

The carpet was VERY dirty. The bathroom was not very clean. There was no refrig or microwave and the whole TV system was antiquated and not user friendly. The bed spreads were not clean. The paint was peeling and all the chrome was very rusty. I certainly will never stay there again.

Vacation

Me and my family got to hotel at 1pm check in at 3pm the manager said we had to wait to 3pm to check in so we go back at 245 finally rooms ready we go check in I didn't have a fridge in room I had to call so they can bring me one then I find roach in room I got there July 3 left July 6 couldn't find no other hotel at last minute people live in this hotel full of roach we talk to lady at desk she lie and she she wasn't the manager come to find out she was the manager she a lie they said grab and go for breakfast all they got was muffin they should demolish place it stick something I wouldn't let my dog in

Good deal for the price

This is a hotel/motel within a mile of the historic area of Williamsburg. They have been renovating over the last year and it is a work in progress.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable (more comfortable than the one I slept on in the lodge at twice the price)
There were definately some dated elements and quirks but the staff were very friendly, the room was quiet and they had good quality toilet paper. I loved that we got actual keys to the room! It's been a while since that happened
I'm sure they will continue to improve and I hope they succeed. It's nice to have some diversity in pricing in the Williamsburg area.
