Outstanding!

The staff was amazing. Very attentive and kind. I was there hosting a work conference and sandy and her team were AMAZING for the 6th year in a row I have been working with them. Will be back next year. Thank you to both Jackie’s in the events team for being supportive, easy to work with and very professional.

Key West Family/Anniversary Trip

My husband, our kids, and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary in Key West, Florida this July, and it was one of the most memorable family trips we've ever taken.
Key West is absolutely charming. It's the kind of place where you can walk the 2x4 island again and again and still discover something new every time. The atmosphere is laid-back, the food is incredible, and the water is unbelievably beautiful.
If you're planning a trip, don't just stay on land—get out on the water! Visit the sandbars, watch for dolphins, rent a kayak or canoe, ride a jet ski, and definitely go snorkeling. Snorkeling was such an amazing experience that it truly felt life-changing. While there aren't many beaches, you honestly won't miss them because the water itself is the main attraction.
We stayed at the Opal Resort, and the highlight of our stay was meeting Sunny. Sunny was, without a doubt, one of the most wonderful people we encountered on our entire trip. It's rare to meet someone who makes your day brighter simply by being kind, genuine, and welcoming. Sunny made our stay even more special, and we'll always remember that warmth and hospitality.
Key West stole a piece of our hearts, and we can't wait to return. If you've been thinking about visiting, don't hesitate, you won't regret it!

This was the 1st time I stayed at The Opal Key Resort. It was excellent! I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the resort itself. It is in a perfect location; I was very amazed how beautiful the grounds were well kept. Not a lot of noise which really doesn't bother me much. But it is placed where you are a block from Sunset pier, Sloppy Joes, Capt. Tony's, Hogs breath. That's just to name a few. The Margaritaville Cruise Camps right there. Docked in the Morning and gone by 6ish. As far as room rates, this was the least expensive of all the resorts, especially during Labor Day Weekend. For me, the most important thing was - they provide WATER! Yes, complementary. I didn't have to go to the store and get water. I didn't have a chance to hang at the pool, but it is a nice and clean area. The surroundings is like a lil community in itself. If you wish to go to an island, the ferry is $45.00 and it's right there. Oh, the breakfast was perfect each time! Wonderful resort to stay.

This is a lovely hotel. The property is nice, the pool a nice size with attendants there for towels, water and to bring you food and drinks from the bar area. We booked a king ocean view and when we got there they apologized and said they didn't have any more King ocean view rooms for that night. Mind you, we were early but they were not going to have one. They gave us a double queen for that night. The room itself was nice but it had a barn door for the bathroom, which i don't like. It didn't cover the opening completely. The next day we got moved to the king ocean view. This had a regular door for the bath, the housekeeping was good and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. I would have given a 5 star if they had accounted for their rooms correctly. How does this happen? It shouldn't, especially for a hotel of this caliper.
There is an adjoining restaurant with a bar. The food was very good. We had a Carnival cruise ship come one day, and I did read people complaining about it blocking the view. It had left before sunset so it didn't bother us.

Great location. Quiet oasis in middle of hub. Great pool.
WAY overpriced drinks at the pool bar!!
