Julian Treasure

So, we’ve actually been staying here for almost 20 years! Great location just a short walk to the town’s Main Street, tidy, and the owners are very kind and thoughtful. We look forward to staying here all year. Since this inn is family-owned and run and is also their home, we always try to be extra conscious and they always take amazing care of us. This place is a Julian treasure.

Do not stay here, dirty rooms, terrible manager

Our stay was utterly terrible. It was evident that they did not clean up after the previous guests. The conditions were so gross that we had to check out early. When we called the owner, she was incredibly rude and dismissive of everything we said. She didn’t seem to care about the state of the place. We even offered to send her photos and videos of the dirty areas, but she hung up on us. She refused to help us resolve the issue and wouldn’t make it right, even after we had to check out after our first night because of her lack of preparation for guests. The state of the room now makes sense after speaking with such a poor manager.

DO NOT STAY

This establishment was beyond disappointing. The room was filthy, there were hairs everywhere, the room had cobwebs and dust in every corner, there is black mold growing in the shower and the customer service is terrible. We called to speak with Laura to request a refund for our second night as the living conditions of the room were not at all sanitary. She proceeded to take our call, tell me that she is “sorry we feel that way” and then when I asked if there would be any reimbursement for the second night as we checked out by 10 am after arriving at 7:30 pm the night before, she stated that she didn’t feel it was necessary and hung up on my phone call. DO NOT BOOK HERE! It is truly not worth your money.

Terrible place, terrible people

These low lives threw us out of their establishment the same night we checked in for having legally registered ADA service dogs. Despite our federal protections, they harassed us from midnight on in an effort to get us to leave. They called the sheriffs department and enrolled the sheriffs department in their illegal tactics to get us to leave the premises. They made us so uncomfortable that we finally decided to leave after being promised a full refund. In the morning, we packed everything up, despite the fact that we were supposed to be there for another night, again, after being promised that we were going to get a full refund, for them ruining the first night by harassing us And then asking us to leave the second night. Honestly, we did not want to stay there as they are bigots, and we felt it would be better to get the refund then to spend any more time there. Being the low lives that they are, they then refused to issue the refund. We are looking into our options in dealing with this. Don’t waste your time here. These people are bad.

Little Red Riding Hood

Because this was an overnight trip and we were not planning on spending a lot of time in our room we didn't want to spend a lot of money on a large, extravagant place. But we did want something comfortable so we could get some rest. This place was "just right." Walking distance to Julian main street. Their "Tavern" room was a cozy place to hang out and grab some snacks and drinks.
