A nice place overall. Amenities were basic but serviceable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very clean room, comfortable bed.

Great location to visit Boston and Salem. Walking distance to a shopping area and light eating. I would highly recommend.

The staff was extremely helpful, but the facility is in bad need of updating (i.e. The sofa and our room was ripped).

We had a late check-in and most likely got the last room, which was a handicapped room (we did not request one). The room was very musty smelling (they allow pets in some of the rooms and we feel this was one of them), the bathroom was a handicapped bathroom (even though the front desk person insisted it was not), the A/C barely worked and the guests above us had a very squeaky bed that squeaked all night long. We asked to be moved the next morning and they did move us to a much better room (in other words, the room we should have gotten in the first place). After that our stay was fine, but I do find it odd that we had to pay for a Continental breakfast. Never had that before. I can understand if it is a full restaurant and you are ordering off a menu, but the items offered were exactly what is offered with a Continental breakfast. It is conveniently located right off the highway, although it is hidden behind a shopping mall. It's an older hotel and definitely needs some upgrades. I was also surprised to see the front desk staff in jeans. Not too professional in my book. Anyway, I didn't think it was worth the nightly rate.

Obviously this is only an opinion based on a single night stay. The outside is beautiful, but even from the front entrance which is not necessarily clearly marked you can tell it needs to be updated. The room was nice and clean, but again needed an update. The staff was pleasant.
