Our stay was okay. Expect no frills, just a room to sleep in the night before going to Yellowstone.

This is a pet friendly hotel which is really important. the place is old but clean. The staff were polite-- no more, no less. The view from the window with the lights in the hill at night makes up for the absence of daytime view but then it does not matter when you can just drive out of town to Yellowstone National park. There were energy bars, oatmeal packs and yogurt as well as fruit cups (unsweetened) that you can grab to take to your room for breakfast. I did not see any warm breakfast stuff but I might have missed the time for eating.

A bit overpriced but a lot of places are. Not worth 215. Breakfast area was very small and was prepackaged items.

Worst hotel

If I could give this place zero stars I would: I booked for two nights, we only stayed one night. The first room we got, it smelled like someone peed everywhere. I asked to change room. The second room we got it still smelled like pee and musky. I did not want to sleep there but we were already tired of the long drive and just wanted to rest, it was more like a stress, I would rather sleep in the car, but I had already paid for 2 nights, I gave it it chance 1 night and was the worst night. Every time I woke up at night I smelled pee. Horrible. We checked out as early as possible and did not stay the second night. The manager there did not even ask how was your stay. All he said, “well you are all good checked out I can’t force you to stay”. ZERO recommended. I asked if there was anyway to get money back from the second night since we are not staying, he said no. I would not sleep here even if it was for free. The smell of the rooms was the worst.
