The room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary bottle of wine for our anniversary was a nice touch, and very appreciated. Short walk to restaurants and shopping. Would stay here again!

Absolute Nightmare of a Stay

BEWARE! Filthy and unkept! Bathroom was disgusting. Posting photos. Housekeeping only dropped off supplies in a pile- no refresh of baths and no making the bed. So we cancelled housekeeping the rest of our stay. I may as well have booked an Airbnb. The phone did not operate, we decided because there are so many issues they don’t want to hear about it. Wifi very spotty. Lock didn’t work; had the giant inconvenience of getting a key programmed every day. The AC worked, thank goodness, but it was so incredibly old and loud it kept us awake all night. Mattress and all bedding very very dated and all needs replaced; thank goodness we at least had good pillows in our car from travel as the ones in the room were horrendous. If it would not have been 4th of July weekend would have walked in and walked right back out of this place but we were stuck! This stay was a nightmare! Also if you look on their website they have lots of other “sister properties” in the area they’ve recent acquired. So beware of those also! Good luck.

This hotel is in a great location downtown. Unfortunately, it has been poorly maintained and is due a major uplift. My room had been partially updated and was not too bad. It was located in the Annex Building. The elevator appears to be permanently out of order and the carpeting up the stairs and in the hallway was disgusting. The AC did not work properly unless the fan was put on "run" and not on automatic. The enclosed patio was extremely hot with no ventilation. The grounds are not being well maintained and apparently the restaurant has been closed. Good thing for the town that several new Inns have opened recently. Unless updated and renovated soon, this property will be a "O" star property.

We stayed in the two story building and the elevator wasn’t working. Also it had not been vacuumed for weeks the carpet looked old and reminded me of a college ski trip.
Our cleaning lady barged into the room while we were taking a nap and not fully dressed. She said “they don’t tell me anything” seems like a managment slip.
Great location, price, easy booking online.

Very Poor Check-In Experience

The Good won't take long ... the location was fine, cleanliness fair, very quiet, very helpful staff. So much for the good.
We stopped into the hotel front desk early about 10:00AM August 17th , were granted access to room about 1:30PM ... Annex Building 2nd floor, Room 4. The elevator was "Permanently" Out of service, with a long climb up stairs with luggage. AC was not working and the temperature was 75 degrees. We turned it down, waited about 45 minutes, temperature went up to 78. Called front desk several times, were told they'd find an alternate room ... after over an about, they told us all rooms on the Annex 2nd floor would only cool to 75 degrees. Finally, they moved us to a room on the 1st floor in the main building, it did not have same amenities and spaces (like a porch) as our booked room. We were just LUCKY they had something suitable to check us into before the rush of check-ins later in the day. Staff was more than helpful and understanding, but we were told the AC issue was KNOWN, and the ELEVATOR issue was ALSO KNOWN when we called to confirm the room the week before. NO ONE SAID ANYTHING. ... VERY DECEPTIVE on upper management's part. Needless to say, we will NEVER RETURN. NOR WILL WE RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. In addition, we were NEVER able to get WIFI access, even with staff assisting,
