Delicious
Had a great experience.
Nice hotel, with lovely and helpful staff. The food was fine with lots of choice and something different every day.
The setting is beautiful. I can definitely recommend a trip with a glass bottom boat.

Terrible!
Terrible. No pressure, room hasn't been cleaned in three days. No clean towels. Food gone. I suggest you choose something else the worst hotel of my life.

Relax
We have been here for a week and it is one of the best in Mallorca. On the beachfront overlooking the promenade and no problem arriving by taxi or private car, which drops you off 25 meters from the hotel entrance. Perfect location, with practically direct access (5 meters) to a wide beach with crystal-clear water and no seaweed. And very close (5-10 min walk) to a couple of wonderful coves. Excellent service with staff always attentive and a high-quality buffet. One of the days we ate there, there was paella, and many "star" restaurants would love to have one like it (a 10/10). Almost all of the rooms have a terrace and direct sea views, are spacious and perfectly clean. Luxury. Definitely worth returning to.

Excellent, I will repeat.
Excellent location, access to the beach is practically direct. A beach with crystal-clear waters where you can do water sports. Its facilities are perfect for spending a few days on vacation. With a little terrace 5 meters from the beach, ideal for enjoying at any time of the day with the comfort that you are at the hotel with all its services.
The friendliness of all the staff is remarkable; they helped us with everything we needed. Thank you.

Three-star average hotel - but nothing more than that
Location:
The Mix Peymar in S'Illot on Mallorca is a rather aged average hotel, where the price-performance ratio is almost balanced. In terms of price, the hotel is rather at the lower to middle level, and that is how it presents itself. The location of the hotel is truly top-notch. Arriving by bus transfer from Palma, you reach the hotel two minutes' walk from the shuttle station. The Mix Peymar is ideally located on the main promenade and also only two minutes away from the beach. So you don't need a change of clothes or a beach bag for swimming, because you are comfortably at the beach right from your room.
Amenities
The amenities at the Mix Peymar leave a lot to be desired. The hotel has aged over time, and there is a noticeable lack of will or funds to want to turn this place into a gem.
The interior is in some parts completely worn out. The room size is acceptable for two people. However, the room lacks both a luggage rack and a refrigerator. With outside temperatures of over 34 degrees, this service would be appropriate. Fortunately, the room has a balcony, air conditioning, and a TV. The bathroom is minimalist and very small. It nonsensically has a bathtub, where a shower would be more suitable given the lack of space.
You can recognize the hotel's formerly better times and original ambition, as the color scheme and creativity still bear witness to original Mallorcan, traditional taste.
The outdoor pool, if you want to call the kiddie pool that, offers space for 10 adults. Anyone who wants to swim should therefore use the sea right outside the door. Anyone who also wants to use the Internet while on vacation will not find the best conditions at the Mix Peymar, because the use of Wi-Fi there is still subject to a fee even in the year 2026.
Cleanliness
The hygiene and cleanliness leave a lot to be desired. Fresh towels give the impression as if they had just been used. The bed linen was partly "stained," yellowed, and unsightly. It was also not changed during the stay. The service staff is apparently at odds with cleanliness throughout the hotel, or the expectations of the numerous guests from the former Eastern Bloc are not too high in this regard.
Catering
In this review, only the half-board option can be considered.
The breakfast was sufficient and adequate, but already boring after day two, because the selection was repeated daily. For dinner, the selection was somewhat better. However, one should not necessarily evaluate the culinary skills of the kitchen. The meal times of 2.5 hours and the restaurant offered enough time and space to dine in peace. Unfortunately, however, some dishes were "sold out" after a short time and were then replaced later with other dishes. That testifies to quite unqualified planning in the kitchen. Dishes and cutlery were partly grimy and often enough there were not enough glasses and plates available for the guests. The photos of the culinary delicacies published by the tour operator have absolutely nothing to do with reality.
Staff
The service staff was generally friendly, nice, and also helpful. Aside from the aforementioned room cleaning, there was little reason for criticism here.
Conclusion
For a week of relaxation, the Mix Peymar offers an option in terms of price-performance ratio, if one is prepared to limit one's expectations accordingly. The majority of the hotel guests came from English-speaking countries and also from Eastern Europe, where the requirements for quality and hygiene are, as is well known, not always very high. The staff made up for many of the inconveniences with friendliness and helpfulness. The last renovation of the hotel took place in 1998; it would be time for the operator group Mix Hotels, around the Sastre family, to provide some "fresh air" here once again.
