Wonderful
Ideal for a vacation with friends, very attentive and professional staff, information service about activities inside and outside the hotel, the Guest Experience Rosina who helped us at all times and was very attentive to ensure we didn't lack anything, they even invited us to comment on how we were doing with great interest in helping us ensure an excellent stay, spectacular pools, spa, gym, and DJ every day in the lounge chair and Balinese bed area for free, it seems like a beach club, there is a shop, a Rooftop with snacks and cocktails.

Lovely hotel, lots of choice for breakfast, dinner was a theme every night which as a picky eater then limited what I could eat some nights as I don’t like Indian or sushi and for a 5 star hotel I think there could have been more selection. The kids club was basic but my daughter did enjoy it. The djs round the pool every day was a nice touch sun loungers are comfy to.
The beds are hard not what I’m used to and the shower leaked but the rooms are lovely and well cleaned I would go back but maybe not go half board

Great stay at Aubamar - June 2026
I stayed here in June 2026
Area: next to the German strip
Our stay was very pleasant once the issues were resolved.
There was a confusion in the rooms we booked and the room that was given. This however was resolved by staff members named below:
Marina - Hotel manager, thank you for understanding and changing the room to the desired one
Luigi - Assistant Hotel manager, assisted in enquires and able to resolve any requests I had
Eleonora - Guest services - in suites building, as my flight was later in the evening, Eleonora gave me a late check out which was very much appreciated by my wife and I
Caroline - Guest services, helped with the initial enquiry and to sent me to the right people. She helped me during the dinner as i my wife and I have dietary requirements.
If you book this hotel my advice will be book something in the Suites building.
Overall i had a very pleasant stay and i would highly recommend this hotel.

Beware. This is marketed as higher end suites hotel, it has a very budget vibe to it:
1. The reception staff and evening/early AM staff are super casual. You don’t get a sense of elevated service or image. T-shirts, no matching outfits, feels budget.
2. The spa is really not a spa. It’s 5 treatment rooms, non functioning broken steam room (which is a joke for a full property to not immediately fix steam room. It had been broken for weeks. Just lazy incompetence. And the pool and spa area you can’t just use. You have to book 24 hours in advance or get yelled at by the staff that you should know that. The funny thing is the staff shows you writing where it supposedly says needs 24 booking notice but it actually doesn’t say that. Very lazy Spanish bureaucracy style people running spa.
3. Gym is one of just a few machines. No bands, sparse. Good luck if someone on a machine.
4. No ice. You can only get from the bar or AM. If you actually want ice from room service (which closes at 9:00, really? For a hotel with 100s of rooms no room service after 9:00? They want to charge you for ice. Never heard of that, even for budget 3 star hotels. Just odd and frustrating.
5. Breakfast staff super nice but if you want anything early (before 8:00 am) nothing. So for early risers your out of luck. They don’t even have good coffee available early. Their excuse is the crappy room coffee available.
For over $400 euro a night it’s horrible. Would never return.

Good level of hotel, don’t book the standard rooms as they are way too small, good breakfast, evening buffet was ok, highlights are the spa and outside pool areas
