The rooms were nice. It is a very unique hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is an older hotel but mostly well maintained. The showers and beds were good.

Improveable and somewhat old
We stayed at the Hotel Abades Nevada Palace and overall the experience was correct, although with several points to improve.
We booked directly through their website, as it was cheaper than on other platforms, which is a plus. In the area you can park relatively well, as there is quite a white line, something that in Granada is quite appreciated.
The location is comfortable: it is close to the highway and the tram, and although it is not in the center, you can walk in about 40 minutes without problem.
The hotel itself can be seen to be a few years old. It's not bad, but it's been somewhat dated and needs an update. In fact, they were renovating the facade during our stay. They gave us a pretty big room, almost apartment type, which is appreciated, but you could also notice that old air.
As for the room, here come the buts: the lighting was quite bad, the shower tray was somewhat dirty and also the water did not swallow well, which is quite uncomfortable. The TV was very small and ran regular, and the internet was pretty bad.
Of course, the staff was very friendly throughout, which always scores points.
Bottom line: well located hotel with spacious rooms, but needing a major renovation in facilities and maintenance to live up to what one expects.

Bad experience.
Be careful, this hotel does not deserve a 4 even though it is under renovation; everything is old and dirty.
I will let you look at the photos of the state of the carpets, chandelier, chairs, shower grab bar, bathtub seals, etc.
The bathtub is very damaged, the blinds in the room are not worth mentioning, and the furniture is even worse; it bears the weight of the years and lack of maintenance.
The breakfast buffet is nice, but everything is of very average quality.
Even the chairs in the dining room are at the end of their life!
With a final price that is not so attractive considering the overall condition.
And let's not talk about the parking fee, which quickly adds to the bill.

Large hotel bit outside town
The hotel is located a bit away from the city, near a new residential area. Also near the highway. The hotel looked big! Even the reception area was large! The rooms are arranged in a circle, and the center is open - lots of light coming in through the glass windows on top. There's a nice bar attached to the lobby area.
The lifts were relatively small for a hotel of this size. Rooms were large with decent amenities. No kettle or ironing board, though. My room faced the parking area and was a bit noisy at times. Also, the privacy curtains didn't close properly. Wifi worked fine. The bath had a tub and decent amenities.
We had a local dinner at the hotel, and the spread was very nice! As were the breakfast options.

Good hotel in need of a reservation
Beautiful building, nice surroundings and convenient location. We stayed there as a part of Thomas Cook SOTC tour. Reception and food court was spacious and cozy. Elevators had a great view through the glass walls overlooking mountains. Surrounding was decent.
Rooms were clean but dated and tired looking. Hallways were dirty and stained. Carpet was patched to cover worn out areas.
Bathroom was clean and adequate but shower stalls were crammed and shower curtain was inadequate and small. Toilet was clean and seat had multiple functions. Bidet and dryer were plus for Europeans.
Dinner was limited but adequate for a meal. Breakfast was bellow euro standard.
Good shell but poor interior was detracting.
