Quite and clean

I was there for three times, always I found perfect clean room and very gentle staff.
Perfect stay to visit Gijon, 5 min from rail station , in the center of the city and 3 min by foot from the beach!
Wifi included.

Finde en Gijón.

Localización inmejorable, precio competente y la atención del chico del teléfono y de la chica de las habitaciones. Han sido muy serviciales y educados. Fui con amigos y pareja y para pasar un finde semana está increíble. Muchisimas gracias gracias

Günstiges Stadthotel, zentral gelegen

Hospedaje Covadonga hatte ich wegen der günstigen Lage (nur 5 Minuten vom Busbahnhof entfernt, zum Bahnhof gut das Doppelte) gewählt und weil meine späte Anreise kein Problem war.
Das Hotel ist in einem großen Wohnhaus untergebracht, bei dem man unten wie von einem Portier am Schalter empfangen wird. Die Dame war aber sehr freundlich und die zwischenzeitliche Gepäckaufbewahrung am nächsten Tag auch kein Problem.
Ansonsten bekommt man das, was man für den recht günstigen Preis erwarten kann: Ein einfaches Zimmer ohne viel Schnickschnack, eher spartanisch und nicht modern, aber doch ohne wichtige Kritikpunkte - genau richtig für meinen Kurzaufenthalt in Gijon.

INDECENTE

NOS HAN ARRUINADO EL FIN DE SEMANA. Ha sido lamentable el trato y las gestiones de la reserva y hemos decidido no ir. Con una reserva de dos habitaciones por teléfono hecha desde el 26 de mayo para dos noches por 69€ en habitación doble.
Llamé para consultar precio y disponibilidad y al día siguiente para reservar y el indivoduo me dijo que no hacía falta nada, que quedaba anotado. Dado que no teníamos confirmación escrita, decidí volver a llamar en julio para confirmar que todo estaba bien, y sin problemas, pero me dijo que me volvía a llamar de todas maneras y nunca llamó. Me daba la sensación que estaba a otras cosas porque nunca tenía la agenda a mano o lo tenía que consultar con su compañera que estaba muy liada. Asi que hace unos días he vuelto a llamar y me saltó el contestador. A falta de tres días para viajar me comenta que suelen pedir e-mail de confirmación y que va a comprobar la reserva, que me vuelve a llamar. Así hasta el día siguiente en el que me ha dicho que mi reserva NO EXISTE, ni mi nombre ni mi teléfono!!!!! Para colmo me asegura que es imposible que me haya ofrecido ese precio para agosto. En todas las ocasiones he hablado con este impresentable que se ha querido aprovechar de que los precios están por las nubes para cobrarnos de más.
Menos mal que hemos podido comprobarlo antes de presentarnos allí y que nos hiciera tragar con el precio que a él le de la gana, 85 euros por día me ofrece, y teniendo que consultar la agenda o "reubicar" a la gente. No se puede ser peor hostelero que no sabe si tiene o no sitio. Mucho ojo con este tipo de elementos, y mejor tener siempre la confirmación por escrito... Nunca me había pasado esto con otras reservas por teléfono pero ya he aprendido y no volveré a caer en la trampa de sinvergüenzas como él.

Recomendable

Habitación acogedora. Todo lo necesario para pasar una buena estancia al precio que cuesta la noche. Dos camas pequeñas pero cómodas, TV, Wifi, armario y toallas. El baño (privado) correcto aunque la ducha un tanto pequeña. La propietaria muy agradable y acogedora, con quien da gusto tratad.
Ubicación céntrica y parking gratuito cerca (alado del museo del ferrocarril, 10min andando)
Recomendable.
