Completely charming, most so of our 13 nights in Europe

What we appreciated was the overwhelming hospitality of Alejandro; actually the entire family worked seamlessly to insure my husband and I felt comfortable. Love that we were able to bring our own wine in to enjoy on their memorable terrace.
Proximity to all of Deia's charm yet away from the throngs of tourists. Visitors need to be comfortable with climbing (although Alejandro lept immediately to help us with our small bags)
We were sorry they did not having a second night available.
There were Issues with a neighboring property whose backed up plumbing line necessitating jackhammers outside our window when we hoped for a nap. C'est la vie. Alejandro explained that this was unusual and that the property would do the same some day should something happen to Villa Verde’s old plumbing

This hostel is a sensory enhancer.

There are places that you visit and places that remain in your memory. This hostel in Deià belongs to the latter.
Its views seem to be taken from Eden. Sitting on the terrace with a cappuccino in hand, listening to the birds chirping, and contemplating the beauty of the mountains and the sea has something magical about it. There, I reread one of my favorite books, and somehow, the surroundings made every page more meaningful. Perhaps it is the essence of Robert Graves, who still seems to stroll discreetly through the village.
The two brothers who run it are the perfect reflection of Deià: approachable, welcoming, and authentic. They make you feel more like a guest than a visitor.
And as if all that were not enough, my wife and I were able to dedicate ourselves to what we have known how to do best for years: love each other. Sometimes trips are not about discovering new places, but about reconnecting with the person next to you. And this corner was the perfect setting.
Thank you for a few days that tasted of calm, beauty, and happiness. We will return. ❤️

The location will take your breath away.

Stunning location .. fantastic terrace with views. Incredible hospitality from Alejandro.

Rare gem with spectacular views in the heart of Deia

This is my second visit to Villa Verde and both times have been wonderful. Alexandro greeted us charmingly and was so helpful and friendly guiding us to the hotel free parking- which in a village like Deia where finding a place for your car is a nightmare - is a real benefit. Our room was lovely with a spectacular view of the tramontana from a large window and our private terrace. This place is such good value - as prices in Mallorca sky rocket theirs have stayed the same and for such a peaceful room in the heart of this iconic village this hotel is a rare gem. I didn’t come across the rude receptionist talked about in other reviews - the staff here were lovely with us.

I wouldn't book anymore.

On arrival we had to wait. The young lady at the reception showed little interest in booking us. The room is small. The sanitary facilities defective. The water in the shower comes from the tap. There is no hot water. Breakfast is very spartan. The hotel is too expensive for the poor offer.
