An incredible retreat in Galicia
An incredible experience! The setting and decor is wonderful, food is incredible and staff caring, flexible and attentive. Would highly recommend !

The wellness retreat that nourishes you inside and out
This is the most wonderful retreat. beautifully curated, with a stunning location, incredible food, the most helpful staff and fantastic yoga. There are a host of activities on the programme that enhance your stay and make you leave feeling thoroughly nourished, both inside and out. I was only there for 3 nights, but it felt like three weeks of therapeutic wellness. I am so grateful for the experience.

This was a truly magical place full of magical people taking care of your every need! Full of surprises and fun. Amazing yoga and gastronomic delights, the day on the island with white sandy beaches was breathtaking....highly recommended but tell only your best friends as it should be kept a secret!

A place of magic
This is one of the most magical places I have been to! On a whim I decided to book my first yoga retreat and it did not disappoint. Rogelio and Javi were the kindest and most accommodating hosts. My flight was delayed and I had booked a taxi through them earlier. A simple message to Rogelio and he had sorted it out! The hikes we went on were spectacular. Javi knew so much about the different plants along the way and it was super cool learning about all of it! The property was so beautiful as well. It was a 1700s manor but the interior has been updated for a very homey feel. The food served was magnificent. Maria made sure we were well fed. The dishes were creative and beautifully presented. Everything tasted so fresh! I still think about all the fresh fruit and local cheeses! The last meal was a traditional Galician seafood feast and it was one I will remember forever. The yoga classes were led by Sandra who is the most helpful teacher I’ve come across. She will gently correct you during your practice and help give alternative positions if you can’t do something. The yoga classes in the morning were more of a flow class and were excellent for waking up. The class at night was more of a yin/stretching class and was amazing for winding down in the evening. The retreat also had an included massage done by Belen. She has the most gentle energy and the massage was so amazing that I fell asleep! Overall it was a 10/10 experience and I highly recommend to everyone.

A Journey Through Galicia’s Soul: Terranam’s Timeless Allure
Our Terranam journey began in Rías Baixas, where the Atlantic’s mist clings to ancient stone. The 18th-century manor—once a stable, now a sanctuary—blends rustic charm with quiet luxury, a truly romantic setting for a couple, such as my husband and me.
Hosts Roge and Javi welcomed us like family. In the dining room, chef Maria Tavares unveiled her masterpiece: Galician seafood rice, its briny depth a tribute to the north’s maritime soul and ode to Aphrodite, who with these marine foods rekindles every couple’s flames of love. Each meal sang of the sea, each dish described a story that whispered both ancient and contemporary accents.
Days moved with the tides. We sailed emerald waters, learning of mussel ropes and scallop beds, then feasted on just-harvested seafood paired with crisp Albariño one of the local wines. On Carril’s shores, mariscadoras taught us to read the sand, their hands tracing tides and tradition.
In Santiago de Compostela, we wandered medieval alleys hand in hand, savouring padrón peppers and pulpo á feira, the traditional local octopus recipe. Back in Maria’s kitchen, we learned the magic of Tarta de Santiago, its almond crumb a sweet farewell.
What made Terranam special wasn’t just the food or scenery—it was the slow, unhurried rhythm that let us reconnect. Between wine tastings, seaside walks, and lingering meals, we found space to simply *be* together. Roge and Javi’s hospitality made it all effortless. By the end, we left not just well-fed, but refreshed—and a little closer than before.
